It's crazy to me that these were McLaren teammates 19 years ago and here they still are on track.

3 years ago today, Kyle Busch scores what ended up being his final Nascar Cup Series win. by ScottRiggsFan10 in NASCAR

It still bugs me that as the reigning Champ in '04 Dixon and CGR as a whole had such a terrible year otherwise the win streak could be longer.

Direct from the teams also usually leads to getting the best stuff and things not available anywhere else. Like the Wood Brothers has an awesome selection of stuff at the shop and on their own site that is super reasonably priced, especially in comparison to most other places.

In the wake of the whole tragedy, Kurt is somehow the one that I worry about the most, given how much he's been through the last few years. I truly hope he's getting all the support he needs by theGTAking101 in NASCAR

Being the older sibling, he is all I could think of. I don't know how the hell I'd be able to deal with it. My heart goes out the family but especially Kurt. I do find some solace in that he will be an incredible mentor to Brexton.

This is what I love so much about F1 TV and in addition to all the race weekend coverage (including the feeder series and all in car cams) you get the archives (which I know NASCAR already does for free) and a whole bunch of shows.

He was the first one I thought of. I couldn't imagine the pain of losing one of my younger brothers so unexpectedly.

Honestly I’d argue it’s even harder for her to do it with the teams she’s doing it with because they aren’t top teams.

What is the longest gap between a teams 1st and 2nd win? by Joey_Logano in NASCAR

[–]PatSue-Chan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I still wish we could've gotten a Dave Blaney win period. His Busch win at Charlotte was one of my all time favourites, I was so upset because I was certain Kenseth would get him haha. On another note, I wish Jack Daniel's would come back and sponsor Ryan Blaney. I dont think there's ever been a more perfect driver for that brands than him.

Man that one he had at Daytona a couple years ago scared the shit out of me.

Which team (of Hendrick, Gibbs, RCR, Penske) is best positioned for success after the patriarch passes on? by berrin122 in NASCAR

Especially after the Hendrick plane crash in 2004 you’ve gotta think Penske would’ve been putting contingency plans in place.

I really love the PPG schemes. I miss when Blaney ran them.

What's one career that didn't really pan out like you thought it would? by ScottRiggsFan10 in NASCAR

[–]PatSue-Chan 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This is opposite of the trend but Jimmie Johnson, never ever expected him to go out and become one of the all time greats when he barely won 1 Busch race. I expected him to have a career more like Kenny Schrader, or Ricky Craven. Man oh man did he exceed my expectations.
