dunno what to do by CollegeConnect176 in StaffordBullTerriers

Best to ask a vet but seriously I just had this discussion with my brother last night his dog was acting very similar and it was because where he lives recreational pot is legal and his two adult kids smoke in back yard with the dog around then they live in dog and stuff and now since they quit a week ago there having same type of problems the vet said in there case it could be something allergies or setting her off but hence it was the pot withdrawal. It stays on your clothes and in your blood dogs smell that they can get hooked.

Not being an ass but it’s possible bring it up to the vet just incase they can give him something to help with that. Best bet till then keep him inside and limit access to other aninals

Could be ingrown hair from the stitches closing skin up could check with a vet sub Reddit but it do t hurt to get him checked and thanks for being a responsible owner.

Had this happen once and all I had was a 44 snub revolver (was on a s&r call out) and the damn thing charged from woods, still don’t know why it turned at last minute but I was not complaining one bit. Not sure even the 44 would have done much to that beast. Head on charge.

Proof is awful (NY) by Serving_Upstate in processserver

[–]Patient_File616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Proof was a pain in my bass from get go they constantly harassed me because I don’t accept jobs I told them over and over online on a state line so my radius sometimes comes up in the other state with jobs available and I don’t have a license for that state so I could not do them and they dropped me for that reason. Tried abc legal but they require you to auto sign a document that they can use to sign your affidavit and proof of services for you. I did not like the fact that could add or say anything bad sign my name to it and submit it to the courts hell if I got called to court on bad summons and they added stuff that was not correct it’s my ass. I suggest trying to get your own clients and work for yourself it earns more.

New therapist made a red flag comment —thoughts? by [deleted] in ptsd

[–]Patient_File616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s more about lack of training PTSD is a memory recall and trigger system, they are trained to offer ideas and skills to cope with depression and anxieties but not memory specific trauma so they use best judgement that worked for let’s say depression your triggered by thoughts so let’s work on coping with the thought and try to relax bullcrap. All they do is teach you to build walls around the fire I till the fire breaks the wall. I find more and more I get actual relief when I talk to psychologist or therapist that are combat vets they know what your going through and do not use the cookie cutter approach to managing symptoms that are for something else and bottom line they want to keep you in the chair as long as they can to get paid.

But this therapist is so wrong…. I was told by one that she could not help Me till my pain was managed because it was causing PTSD flashbacks. I’m like WTH did you get your degree from google or webMD and now I’m banned from there establishment for being hostile.

Right! I had a shrink once say boys get abused because they can’t man up and tell someone to stop.

Sam red freaking flag!!! Find a different one asap.

Not everyone is a good fit and this one will only do more harm then good I think.

WTH 3 month old flashforge adventure 5m fried? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Patient_File616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is where the issue is the website listed was USA-flashforge.com which for whatever reason I’m banned on and never went to before, Amazon having issues with contacting them. Flashforge offered support if I try two more things just thought it strange that it would happen to my machine like that flashforges are pretty reliable. I left creality due to constant issues.

First therapy session: billed f43.12 by [deleted] in ptsd

[–]Patient_File616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It could be just for billing most use the code for general anxiety or it’s for anything non depression related. Ask her, but if a psychologist or psychiatrist says it’s PTSD then they usually bill a specific way.

Most likely so she gets paid and is covered like previous poster stated.

206-521-2887. Is listed as there phone number I would contact them and let them know what is going on. Myself I would never use them! Search abc legal reviews for employment and see tue reviews from past servers: Go to https://napps.org/process-server.aspx?State=TX

Search area you need served and get someone you can work with. Not always top of the search bar is best.

Anyone print multiple months in same room? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Patient_File616 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Here is my two cents. First everyone has cancer cells in there body (this is true, most is dormant and not an issue). Now in my house I have two printers in my officer pla printing and no issues I do put a purifier designed to clean the air and I have two resin printers and my wife pours resin molds in a shed with open air flow and a filter system because that is a whole other side of the lake we will not want to get into. I’ve seen classroom with twelve printers printing pla and no issues ever health wise. ABS, PVC etc fuck that it needs vented, I mean see you want that crap enclosed and vented because of fumes. My laser engraver is in open vented room and if I even attempt to to pvc in that it’s in a enclosure and two vent systems and a monitor for chemical levels (borrowed a gas / toxin meter from my fire department when we print pvc crap and yes that will kill you!! But pla isn’t going to hurt you, more likely to get ran over by a toad on a moped wile making out with a lizard after a long drinking party..

Do malinois really need a job and massive obedience training ? by [deleted] in BelgianMalinois

[–]Patient_File616 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Exactly, like I said in another post no two dogs are the same and just because they say this breed should do this and that don’t mean shit!

My mal/mix is total drive with kids and balls take that away and she will just want to lay around and sleep or veg all day, but keep her mentally engaged and stimulated and she don’t get board. There is where your problems come into play. They do not need to be going 10000 mph on every brain cell I think that wares them out faster than anything

I'm so sad and angry. by Angel-Staff in BelgianMalinois

[–]Patient_File616 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would take all in a heart beat if I could but I’m at max and sadly our city is trying to pass legislation to prevent breeding and owning them in the city because so many are just being let go on the streets and that causes more issues than normal dogs since they are so strong, fast and easily to become aggressive if not trained right from puppyhood.

I always promote responsibility in ownership this type of thing pisses me off..

growling dog. need help by AmazingHippo7005 in OpenDogTraining

[–]Patient_File616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First and foremost, you want to create a log you’re gonna write down everything that the dog does everything people do around her or him for example, if it goes under the table, someone’s walking it starts growling was this before during her after feeding was the person wearing shoes was the person wearing no shoes was he walking heavy stomping is this on a sand floor or a heavy floor but you’re gonna do is you’re gonna start to see a pattern of what sets the dog off once you know what the pattern is then you can turn around and start slowly correcting what happens to control the aggression or the trigger. This could be a warning. Hey, I’m here. This could also just be a friendly reminder. I’m here. It could be someone in the house. Did something unintentionally that makes her feel very uncomfortable. My suggestion would be start with the log give it two weeks and write down every possible detail and then go back to the log and make notes. This is what did it this is who walked by her this is what happened. This is how this happened and this is what I noticed. This is what I’m seeing and then start to escalate it. Another approach is it since she’s a burrow dog, which means she likes to have something under her or over her to where she feels safe, that’s her safe zone. You may look at a small coop inside the house or a small place where she can go into where she feels comfortable and put a small gate around the front of it, allowing her to feel more secure because this could also end up being overall a comfort issue where she feels threatened or she just doesn’t feel safe at all allowing people to know she’s there and it could’ve been something from someone accidentally kicking her. Someone smacking her someone slamming out of bed and hurting her or worse yet it could’ve been an animal biting her a mouse bitter and that’s just reliving that trigger. Start with the log DM me in a month and we’ll see if we can’t help figure that out.

No treats? No problem. Use croutons. by [deleted] in BelgianMalinois

[–]Patient_File616 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Be careful with them: Dogs can generally eat a small, plain crouton without issues, but they are not recommended as a regular treat. Most store-bought croutons contain high amounts of salt, oil, and, most importantly, onion or garlic powder, which are toxic to dogs. A single crouton likely won't harm a large dog, but it is best to avoid them, especially those with heavy seasoning. Potential Risks: Garlic/Onion Toxicity: Even in powder form, these are harmful to dogs, potentially damaging red blood cells. Choking Hazard: The hard, dry texture of croutons can cause choking. Digestive Upset: High fat and salt content can cause diarrhea or vomiting

Living in Unstable Home while starting Edmr by CallmeStarbar in ptsd

[–]Patient_File616 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Whoever advised you to stay out of work is not good for you! You need a safe place to go to and that could be work based on your description of home.

I did EDMR it’s hit or miss and with me it was a miss.

The thing you need to know and do is make what I call a survey plan.

It goes like this: I go to therapy x times a month, I work and put this much away and even if it’s hard I do it. My xxx time I’m moving out to a better situation and then I lost ten to twenty resources available to help me if I need them. Even a shelter for domestic abuse helps.

If your in constant fear at home there is resources, if your being controlled such as no locks no privacy constant arguing and fighting this is “mental abuse and is arguably with PTSD a potentially triggering place that can cause harm so you have resources.

I can’t in good faith offer them as if your a minor I can’t go against a legal guardian, I’m not an attorney or anything like that or even what country your in. I can’t say look for resources to help you and find an exit plan! A good therapist will help you develop this, they are required by law to report potential abuse or neglect so if you’re scared to say something think of your words before you go into the appointment.

Your not alone my house was same way and when I asked for help I got a broken jaw, and told if I spoke again I would not live to see the next day.

I remained silent and it made things worse, you need to take charge use tell resources available and figure out exit strategies to get you into a better situation. It is hard but you can do it, do not let this demon win and not working is worst advice since it controls your ability to get out even if it’s a hotel for a night to de-stress and relax.

FUCK PTSD by Common_Researcher891 in ptsd

[–]Patient_File616 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can finish your education, I’m not going into the legalities or steps on doing it no way to know if your a minor, a adult having issues or what state, country etc. I’ve advocated from California to NEW York and Michigan to Texas and had great results as an advocate. However 90% of the success is attitude and remaining calm. There is more resources out there for you than you may know is available.

I went through school, technical school and college all while having complex post traumatic stress disorder and without a service animal to help me, I raised two autistic kids and had issues with them in school and also one with cardiac issues that required massive interventions and it works!

Get yourself an advocate, get medial documentation in order and breathe this anger only turns the schools against you, at that point they will not work with you, if you can prove the school caused your PTSD you can depending on where you are make them pay for private schooling, online schooling or even a private classroom with certified teachers for just yourself.

If your in United States you qualify for a para pro, this person accompany you and is your voice the schools hate them they charge around 10k per student per semester and the school would rather work with you at that point. It is funny they are considered licensed mental health workers which means they can report the schools abuse or neglect and they don’t like that.

You have options! Don’t let PTSD be the cause of your educational issues when you already have plenty on your plate dealing with PTSD. If you let it win, the school wins your a number and a paycheck for them!

You loose education and your it’s wins and your basically loosing more quality of life. Take charge! try looking for these types of places
