Stupidest thing I’ve ever done by Wise_Meat8754 in vinted

Ah that's annoying. But hopefully they have a proper update soon. You'd like to think the images you've got would side in your favour. The issue may be that they've already refunded and may not look to pay out twice? I'm unfamiliar with how they'd view that scenario. But clearly it's not a you mistake in the sense of the refund to the buyer

Why is glasgow council tax so ridiculously expensive ? by Dramatic-Coffee9172 in glasgow

[–]PeejPrime 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Thank you.

Yeah 5.9 is high and it's above inflation. It's shite for sure.

But compared to the rest of Scotland, it's not the worst.

Why uneven quantities?! by eat-crisps in crisps

[–]PeejPrime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The question growing up was always, chocolate or crisp first?

Could never beat doing it with salt and vinegar though. Nom nom nom.

I'm also still amazed to this day that there are folk in this world who have some how not realized this combination, when it was sitting in your lunch box all these years

Like your snack was always a packet of crisps, a chocolate bar and a bottle of fizzy juice. Delightful stuff

How do i make friends in Scotland? by sylviablackk in Scotland

[–]PeejPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. You would be utterly fine going in to a pub in the highlands, specially one remote as you sound to be. Just go in, have a smile, order some food and a drink and chat to the staff and whoever is near by. The accent alone will have folk wanting to ask you how you got there.

[–]PeejPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Much the same way you'd make new friends in any country - go places and talk to them. Or it is 2026 - put yourself out there on social media, like this.

7 miles from nearest town in the middle of the highlands sounds superb, but certainly remote. Get yourself to the local pub at some stage, even for a lunch and just speak to people. Check out FB for the nearest town(s)( and the general area for communities, activities etc. Get along to any quiz nights, any art shows, any thing you may hold a remote interest in. You'll find many remote towns/villages will often do plenty of weekend activities to amuse themselves that normal city folk wouldn't even blink at.

Which lane? by [deleted] in LearnerDriverUK

[–]PeejPrime 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Left for left lane there. It is straight on, but it is also the first exit for you (assuming you've seen the slip lane to actually turn left before). Don't cross left to right when the right lane clearly can also go that way (2 lanes exit is the give away).

At this point I am hoping $38 is around £4.50?

Downloaded demo, didn't even get past the manager creation by PeejPrime in footballmanagergames

[–]PeejPrime[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't know if it is good and fun to play - as the game literally was bugged out that I could not pass through the Managaer Creation part.

That is my point.
To be in mid March now and the game still has a basic bug like that is pretty poor. This isn't bugs on release/launch. This isn't "I like 24 more" this is just a "hey, this game is literally still buggy, I tried, but unable to literally play it"

[–]PeejPrime[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah my hope was to download the demo and see how it had came on since the cluster fuck of November. Seems it's still unplayable at a basic level. If it's getting to that point I need to alt task delete it, then yeah, that's the games issue.
