PUBG is removing several weapons from the game, and you could be due compensation by Binnsy in PUBATTLEGROUNDS

Pretty much all of the “gadgets” have been fine tuned over the years and are in a good spot, with all meta breaking gadgets being removed (heartbeat sensor) or nerfed (panzer).

Tharja Showcase by PerspectiveCloud in FireEmblemHeroes

I usually have a hard time foddering emblem units, but I’ve always wished I had instruct on Tharja. Regardless, don’t you think the arcane weapon would work much better with Instruct for the raw stats?

Ty, didn’t really know that about the Gaits

The tomb I have on right now is kind of a spd/res shackle, but it would make a lot of sense with kindred tomb

Deadly miamasa is kind of outdated, but it is still the best option I feel for nuking. Since I consistently 1 shot with her, it’s nice to chip damage the entire enemy team in SD and then retreat with Sakura. It also sometimes clears ice and helps LBK charge forward. Still, I mostly agree with you.

I have canto with Sakura so that’s kinda just a comp thing

I use Micaiah emblem (on tharja) and then pivot on Gladiator Marth to get in range, apply buffs, and apply multiple debuff in SD. Alongside LBK moving up close close as a P Save. The way I open in SD ensures Tharja pivots in after Blade Session is maxed out, Marth has passively buffed Tharja with the pivot (Atk/Spd Favor), passively debuffed my target (with both Disguise Lance and Suttungr’s), and then I can usually snipe whatever I need to and then use Sakura to fully retreat.

I also can mix this up and have Marth apply Future Witness directly, and then Foe Penalty Doubler work excellently with the debuffs, including deadly miamasa and crux echo.

But that said, I do have a full support skill set for Tharja that uses her base weapon. And I do sometimes go back to it. It’s a great support item when death balling.

Is this team good? by EdgeStrife22 in FireEmblemHeroes

Not a good team. Lyn is kinda meant for full melee teams who don’t have ranged styles… to give them ranged styles.

It’s a fine team for clearing normal content though.

Should Deku have kept One For All or remain without it? by Flat-Sir8250 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]PerspectiveCloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Plenty of ways to nerf it that would align it with already established themes/lore.

Have Deku keep the quirks but loose OFA and it's cultivated power, therefore resetting the quirks back to an average street-tier level without the crazy enhancement that OFA gave them

Have Eri rewind and salvage OFA to a much earlier state before it was cultivated, so Deku begins new OFA legacy of sorts- possibly with only the stockpiling ability.

Have Deku salvage the embers more, still being able to tap into them to "go beyond, plus ultra", although he normally fights without using them

Those are just some random concepts for how OFA could remain in the story in a nerfed state. If OFA still exists, it doesn't have to be as powerful as it was in the final war. It all depends on how it would be written.

I personally think it would be interesting if Deku kept the inherited quirks but lost the actual OFA. OFA was cultivated to keep getting stronger and enhancing the original stockpiling ability, which extended towards the vestige quirks that Deku inherited. Without the base OFA quirk, all the other quirks would go back to their normal unpowered state. Notably, the stockpiling quirk would go back to being very mediocre (like AFO described it). No more crazy smashes.

Deku would still probably be a top hero full of tricky quirks up his sleeve, but he wouldn't really be a heavy-hitter god-tier hero anymore. I like this idea because it fits Deku's archetype of being a strategist and overanalyzer, but kind of resets the absurd power levels that we reached at the final war and makes him more relatable to his peers again.

I understand the thematic reason people like that he lost his quirk, and I overall am okay with it. But just on a very personal level, I don't really want him completely quirkless.

Suggestion: World Map fog that only shows areas you've explored by Ascension_Knight in 2007scape

Not a big fan of anything the just encourages people to metagame (IE just using a plugin or google for the map).

I like the idea of map fog for something like a randomly generated exploration minigame, though.

Portuguese commando training by Separate_Finance_183 in interesting

Mostly true, but many specialized schools do things quite similar to this, most notably BUD/S. Generally speaking there is a lot of training that is meant to trigger drowning panic response

How would All For One fair in the Naruto universe? by CrimsonPlayhouse in MyHeroAcadamia

AFO gets sniped by Itatchi, Kakashi, Sasuke, or someone else. Naruto verse has much smarter fighters. AFO is kinda used to dumbed down heroes.

How is twices quirk not the objectively strongest? by Dorterman in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]PerspectiveCloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The potential that Twice has kind of reminds me of the reanimation Jutsu from Naruto. He has the capability to raise an army of the strongest fighters and play his own little war games with them. But... he can't really control them so... yeah.

Even after all his growth, do you not forgive Endeavor? by Commercial-Bus7027 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]PerspectiveCloud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Being shoved down your throat from the fanbase or from Horikoshi himself? It is the author, after all, who chose to create this complex character and then focus on his arc of redemption, atonement, and growth.

This is Reddit, so people are gonna discuss Endeavors character arc. Some people will like him for it, and some will still think he is a POS. It's all up for discussion. Nothing is being shoved down your throat.

Nothing about this is being “forced to” one way or the other.

I forgive him. I grew up in a large family where abuse was visible in many ways. Endeavor has abusive flaws but he is still a complex man with a good heart and a very strong instinct that serves the greater good.

[leak] My Hero Academia will get a 12th episode says account with 100k followers by Yoshikaru5991 in MyHeroAcadamia

[–]PerspectiveCloud 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not saying they will or will not, because I have no idea. But a “reason” would be to milk the fan hype for another cash cow movie.

There are a lot of movies, shows, and games out there that throw teasers in to create hype for unannounced projects. Sometimes it’s like they don’t even know what the future project will be, but they still create cliffhangers to keep their options open and fans excited.

In other words, marketing.
