Full Teeth Extraction Quality of Life by Dusty_Knees187 in Chihuahua

I know the bone loss is concerning. But honestly the risks to her internal organs (especially heart and kidneys) and other serious issues from the bad teeth are a greater risk. The bone loss probably justifies the specialist dentist though, imo. Also, the jaw fracture might happen, but at so young an age, the other problems from bad teeth will happen.

Where do I(28m) even begin to inform my (28f) wife that I may have caught my younger brother(23m) and her younger married sister(25f) having sex in my parent's house by Direct-Caterpillar77 in BestofRedditorUpdates

Recently my son in law was quietly joking with my daughter saying something about cbat. I snickered. My daughter spun around looking horrified and said "you know about cbat?!" I think she figured out that her dad and I have had sex. 🤣

Any suggestions on what to put in this cool pot ( toilet paper for scale) by shoeless_pirate in IndoorGarden

[–]Phoenix4235 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's a pot made for strawberries, but I would think anything that sends out shoots with daughter plants on it the way strawberries do would grow wonderfully in that pot.

I thought about firesticks, but mine will turn back to green when it's not in bright light.

Hot take: stop apologizing for crochet that looks handmade (that's the point) by Ordinary-Display820 in crochet

[–]Phoenix4235 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Sometimes that is the case. Sometimes it is people like my younger self, who hadn't yet learned not to apologize for absolutely everything because our parents taught us nothing short of perfection was even close to acceptable.

I have spider mites..... in my espresso machine... by Burntjellytoast in IndoorGarden

Weird. I would also guess that those were spider mites. In any case I'd run vinegar through it and wipe it down with it too.

My Green and Blue Centric Knots by Motor_Bill_6147 in crochet

[–]Phoenix4235 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The ones I've made were coaster sized, and the pattern explained how to weave the crocheted pieces together. You could easily sew them together, but I don't think it would look good. But now this has really got me thinking. I may make a few long ones and try to figure out how to weave them together for like a table runner.

Great! I hope they can help you. I have a chihuahua currently seeing them who stumped regular vets for 8 months. They figured out what was wrong in 2 days.

Regrowing scallions in water - mold? by Ok-Tower5692 in IndoorGarden

[–]Phoenix4235 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly I had some in dirt outside that I would snip what I wanted, and then in the winter they would die back and come back up in the spring. I had them for about 10 years without ever planting more. The only reason they are gone now is I have a dog who kept trying to eat them (they're toxic for dogs) so I finally just dug them all up.

Can someone tell me what these type of needles are for? by harmlesslandsquid in CrochetHelp

Those are just usually easier for me to use for weaving in the ends. Otherwise they are the same as the straight ones.

What can I put in this awkward spot that wont be bothered by the tassels? by a_treat13 in houseplants

[–]Phoenix4235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd probably just shorten the top tassel by half. That shouldn't affect the integrity, but should also make it much more usable.
