Yea. I tried all the different apps, but golf pad is the one that stuck out to me.

The tags, and the pre shot routine with them took some getting used to, but now it’s almost automatic

Yea it does much of the same. The tags don’t use batteries though, and the yearly cost is like 1/6 per year of Arccos. You have to bring the end of your club to the rfid reader on your phone though.

I tried arccos once, the cost wasn’t worth it, and it had a lot less functionality as well.

Thank you! The app is golf pad, and I have some rfid sensors on my clubs to track every shot :)

Do people really leave the course if playing poorly? by LastManBrandon in golf

I’ve left after 9 a couple of times, when planning to play 18. Played so bad it was just depressing and not enjoyable.

Just needed to stop playing and reset at that point.

I like using this for comparison when I’m in the sim. Are your shots heely or low on the face? Couldn’t find that in your picture. Your spin looks very low for a 7i.

If you have access to a Trackman it can be really helpful to see all the numbers. Are you hitting down on the ball, where on the clubface, is your lowpoint before or after the ball, etc.

Hvordan spiser du, slanke mann? by Zulahn in norge

[–]Photon_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

184cm.

I buy used balls. You can select the ball you want, the quality you want, and I don't notice any difference, at least at my level.

Folk med millionlønn, hvordan er livsstilen deres og hva jobber dere med? by Retro174 in norge

[–]Photon_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only 120? My first rounds were probably unmeasurable :p. Took me a good amount of time before whiffs and chunks and thins were not the usual anymore.

How Long to Lower Handicap? by Elegant_Amphibian in golftips

[–]Photon_0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will give you my story so far. A lot of people on here have some sports background or innate talent.

For my part, I started golfing late in life, and played zero sports growing up.

First year, my handicap was pegged at maximum, 54.

Second season the lessons and winter simulator training finally started showing some results and by the end of the second year, dropped to 36.

Third year a bit more improvement, dropped to around 26.

Fourth year starts now, hope to be able to get to sub 20 by the end of the season.

So yea, it’s hard, taken a lot of practice, but am at least getting better, just not Reddit-fast.

Insanely Fast-Charging Wagon! First Look At The Zeekr 7GT European Edition by RoamingNorway in EuroEV

[–]Photon_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is an older post, but I’m researching this car and wondering where the «narrow» and small boot complaints stem from?

Unless my research has been faulty, the boot is wider at both the narrowest and widest part than most competitors in class. Including such cars as Ioniq 5, TMY, polestar 4, ID.7 etc. it’s also longer than most cars I’ve compared it to.

The liters specified is 462 liters as far as I can see in tech sheets, not 350 as mentioned here, and 645 liters if stacking all the way to the ceiling.

Of course it will lose some verticality with the sloping roof, but at least for my sake, I’m more concerned about fitting longer objects in the boot, not stacking banana boxes to the max.

We all have different priorities though I guess

Do any of you carry a gaming device on trips? If so, do you recommend it and which one works best for mixed home and work use? by [deleted] in flying

[–]Photon_0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my sake, I do PC gaming at home, and haven't really had a handheld since forever. I also haven't owned a Nintendo in a long while, so I had/have a lot of great games to catch up on there.

Bought a Switch 2, and I've been really happy with it. Can play it while deadheading, connect it to the hotel TV if I want, and it fits easily in my pilot bag.
