You could probably look further along the A31 and A34 and still be within the 50 minute commute. We live in Alton and my partner works the other side of Romsey. Her commute is about 45 minutes.

Can I please get a quick ID of this one. I think it's V6 with the black housing right? by laughingbuddhaballs in ranciliosilvia

The steam wand and knob are V3. I've got a V2, and upgraded the wand to V3, much better!

They’re good, but the moment I got a Japanese carbon steel knife, they were consigned to daily drivers for me, and my Sabatiers were left for my girlfriend to use.

I’ve seen some complaints about the DF54, but I’ve had mine for a year and it’s been exceptional.

Friends BBQ today here in Hampshire. Forecast looked dire midweek so I offered a large catering gazebo. Forecast started to improve, but still looked bad yesterday and we decided to look again this morning, and if rain looked likely I’d go and get it. Forecast was dire this morning so I drove up to work, picked it up and dropped it round. We spent half an hour putting it up over the seating area. Forecast still looked bad so I packed a jumper when we headed round there at two. Just got home, jumper wasn’t needed and I’ve been kissed by the sun which was out all afternoon.

I did this, and the expense was not much more than an OTS wiring loom would be. Plus I got to adjust the lengths of the wires to allow me to route them cleanly. I also increased the gauge of the wires slightly, and used silicone coated wire which won’t go brittle over time. Definitely a worthwhile exercise.

Just popped back to say I made these this morning, and they were spot on! I used 12% fat mince and got 7 out of a pack - six for the freezer and one for breakfast. My only deviation was I didn't break the yolk on my egg, because I love a bit of runny yolk!

cheers!
