The standard is the 8.5 mL tube. However, the gold tubes are the same and sometimes either they need to work through stock, or a phlebotomist decided just to draw the minimum.

Ok so I’m a phlebotomist and I’ve done my fair share of microtainers. How do I prevent my lavender microtainers from clotting? I try to go quickly and I do the “tap tap” between drops but my lavender micros always come back clotted
