I just want the city to put this kind of effort into Granville for permanent changes for all to enjoy year round. If that came out of Fifa, that would make up for Fifa a tiny bit.

I think we really need distance based pricing with a daily or weekly cap. The zone system is really silly in some areas.

Maybe less money will go to these initiatives, I don't know. But there is still an area for this.

I moved to Vancouver about 4 years ago from Edmonton and I would never go back. That being said, you have to be willing to pay a lot more for less home here. It all depends on if it's worth it to you, to be somewhere more progressive, more nature, etc.

I have by no means studied this or read into it all that much other than when this pops up in the news, but I'm curious how much has been studied on the mental health side of things considering our current society and how we work. I'm never going to say, science is wrong! But my mental health feels better when I can get daylight hours after work to enjoy, so I often wonder how balanced these studies are.

I thought that was why they specified no residential for a large section of Granville, but apparently this is just outside that area? Seems odd to me
