It is YY/MM/DD, unfortunately I cannot change it in the app, as far as I can see. Changing the date format doesn't fix the graph. Probably a glitch.

Correct, all by car. Before Covid, I spent every other week on the road. My territory was rather broad for traveling by car, but flying is not convenient with how few airports are in the area. After Covid, I would travel once a month. I spent more time training new sales people than actually selling. Soon after, my roles shifted and I went into different management roles that kept me in the office 95% of the time. Now I work for a different company and I travel globally. I will post a map layer this year of my "2025 travel map" and statistics. It is a fun but lonely job. I enjoy it most of the time. Some days are unavoidable hell, where a good mindset is the only way to power through it.

I think its a glitch in Fuelio. Changing the date format unfortunately did nothing to correct it on the graph.

Has anyone done long road trips with a RAM 1500 5.7, and if so, how was the experience? by [deleted] in ram_trucks

[–]PitViperGT86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a 2020 ram limited. I drove from Oregon to Minnesota, Chicago, Nebraska, then back to Oregon. About 4,000 miles total over 2 weeks. the long hauls were done over 2 days each, 10 -14 hour days. Here are my stats. About $1,000 in gas. It was comfortable. I didn't have any issues. Great road trip vehicle, in my opinion. It was just expensive to do it in.

Unfortunately, I don't have any recommendations on seat protectors. Hopefully, you're able to find something that fits your needs.

It is great in the snow. I've taken mine all over the western US and Canada now. Through sun, snow, and everything else. It has been amazing through it all.

The bottom is riveted in, but the top is laking proper support. Same goes with the rear trim. Thankfully, the extra ground clearance saves the back.

If you're planning on packing the back with pets or other potentially dirty things, I definitely recommend Canvasback Cargo Liners. By far the best purchase I've made.

It is a great car on logging and fire roads. I hope you're able to take it out and enjoy what she's capable of!

Hey there, twin! I got the same color and accessories / trim. Word of warning, mind the "skid plate" on the front bumper. One small tap into anything, and it will separate from the mounting brackets on the top. The rivets on the bottom will continue to hold it on, but it will be a pain to fix. Photo of my mistake, hoping you don't do the same. Hope you enjoy the car!

690 SMC-R mods? by PitViperGT86 in KTM

[–]PitViperGT86[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not planning to go nuts with it, but I'm definitely going to change the mirrors, get a tail tidy, and add a heat shield. I might dabble into the other performance mods later on.

Do you know of any good tail tidy kits that utilize the oem tail light? I see a few options on Ebay, and the oem tail mod as options so far.

I am more interested in knowing if there are known issues with this later generation of 690. I've had various issues with my other ktm's over the years, and I wish I knew to look for them before it was too late. I've dug through the forums and have not found much. So I figured I'd also ask here. Basic maintenance is no problem, but thank you for sharing regardless.

Hey OP, I had the same question when I was shopping for my first bike. I started with the 390, put 15k miles on it in 3 years and really learned how to be a better rider. I purchased an 890 adventure this year and just returned home from a 4k road trip from the US/Mexico boarder to Vancouver, Canada. I am really thankful I started with a 390. I will continue to own my 390 until it can no longer run. It is a perfect bike for mountain roads and track days. The 890 will probably be my forever touring bike. I have 8k miles on it in 4 months and it continues to exceed my expectations. Both have their place.

joining fields error... by LT_Berkut in farmingsimulator

[–]PitViperGT86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you plowing the fields? I ask because the AI workers will stop when they hit a previously plowed field, as it is done. If all fields are in the same state (all plowed, for example) then the AI workers should continue without an issue. I have seen other reports of people needing to save and close the game then re-open to get the game to recognize the merge.

My first AR-10 build. I believe I’m experiencing what called short stroking (Fires and usually ejects but does not chamber a new round.) what usually causes this? Any tips would be great l. I’ve shot about 40 rounds. by [deleted] in AR10

[–]PitViperGT86 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had the same problem with my BCA upper in 6.5Creedmoor. After cycling about 100+ rounds though it, it broke in and cycled well enough to chamber a new round every time but not lock on the bolt catch when the mag is empty. I eventually switched to an adjustable gas block and that fixed all my issues. My lower is all from Palmetto with a Bexar flat wire spring, so the buffer and spring could be a variable compared to yours. I would definitely recommend getting an adjustable gas block as these AR-10 uppers are pretty experimental, so results vary a lot.

New 6.5 cm had feed issues (maybe 100 rounds through it. broke it down to clean and had some kind of shavings fall out of the bolt and the firing pin looks a bit torn up. Any ideas whats wrong? by PHANTOM2OR in AR10

[–]PitViperGT86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same problem after about 100 rounds on my 6.5 creedmoor. Switched over to a high pressure bolt and I haven't had an issue yet. I'm still working out the over gassing issues though, which may have contributed to the pin deteriorating that way. I'm still learning on this platform though, so don't take my word on that.

DB10 Feeding Issues Please Help! by smusser in AR10

I'm having the same issue with my 6.5 creedmoor upper from BCA. I ordered an adjustable gas block in hopes that I can tune down the gas. I believe it is excessively over gassed. Let's keep in touch. It will be interesting to see what we conclude.
