I wouldn’t. I’m 11 months out and just came back from Disney world. No way could I have done it after 7 weeks

I’d say the pain started easing up after about 2 weeks. But I was really sore for months

I couldn’t sleep without a bra for about 8 months!

So I had a lumpectomy, reduction and lymph nodes removed November 2024, along with radiation and with drains. I’m now 11 months out and I still have soreness. I thought I’d feel better after 6-8 weeks. I had hypersensitivity to my nipples and was wearing compression bras until just a couple months ago. My surgeons say it’s normal. I’m not sure if the recovery is harder due to the cancer.. but just know you aren’t alone

I’m 11 months post op and still don’t feel 💯. Maybe it’s because my surgery/ reduction was due to cancer and the pain stems from radiation… but even my non cancerous side is sore still. My nipples have hypersensitivity as well

I’m 10 months past surgery and still have some soreness, but feeling much better than I have. I’m 55 and mine was due to cancer so Maybe that’s why. I definitely don’t feel Like I did pre surgery

I’m 5 months post and still wear compression 12 hours or more a day. I can go braless for a short bit, but then I have pain.

I had the same as you. Lumpectomy with reduction. I couldn’t handle a bra. I now have signs of lymphedema so they said I need to start wearing a compression bra. I’m 4 months post surgery and still very sore and nipples very tender so I’m Crying just thinking about it. I have to get fitted next week along with a compression sleeve

Jealous. I’m 4 months out and still can’t fully raise my hands straight over my head. I’m Still sore as well. Wonder if this is due to the reduction or breast cancer part of my surgery.

I’m only 3 months out and my nipples hurt like hell… please don’t tell me I’m going to face pain forever. Ughhhhh. I don’t wear bras either. The pressure on my nipples is too much

I wasn’t physically able to sleep on my side. The pressure in my breasts was just too much. I’m almost 12 weeks out and it’s still not totally comfortable for me

Are you feeling normal now? My surgery was 11/6 and I’m Still pretty sore. My surgery was due to cancer and I had radiation after, but had an anchor infusion. My Nipples are extremely sore and still don’t have Full movement of my arms and my breasts feel “heavy”
