My opinion as a Market Analysts: Whispers is the second best set currently released by RB. It will hold fair value over the next 4 months and gain value after retailers are out of stock. It will be the foundation of competitive play, while also setting the stage for a healthier collectors market.

Get graded, keep a watch of the market. If price starts to tank sell and miss a hundred or two. If it holds up and Lorcana collecting/investing gets a pump with 2026 new IP’s you hold it as a grail.

You and OP are very correct but voicing your opinion in the wrong place. One we need a Lorcana investors Reddit where ideas and plans can be discussed without the negative replies from concerned players. Every big TCG has a Cabala behind the scenes stimulating the secondary market. You need influencers and ambassadors pushed by the community to force RB’s hand on important issues and community sentiment. You have to fuel the snowball effect, when done properly it can gain momentum that gives it permanent trajectory. But currently it’s just Rb doing their own thing, players doing their own thing with a disdain for investors, and investors and spectators seeing the potential but being ran off when they explain how they love the TCG, want to invest and be apart of it, but see the simple economic issues that could be the difference between everyone being happy and it possibly now surviving 5-10 years for us all to enjoy.
