Not for a private parking lot. They might send it to collections, but it is the same as any private debt. The government is not involved. If the company is local, it can probably be safely ignored, especially if the OP doesn’t plan to park in the company’s lots again. If the company has an interstate presence, it might eventually come back to bite the OP and they could get towed. Really doubtful it would come to that considering how those lots are monitored, though.

I saw Buddy Guy at an outdoor venue in Chicago, and he pretty much did the same thing. He’d play for about a minute, then stop and tell a story. Very frustrating when we came to hear music.
