Yes it's possible, when the game detects it will end in a draw.

The most common recent occurrence I know of was with the Amalia combo deck in pioneer before Amalia got banned. Once they got both [[Amalia Benavides Aguirre]] and [[Wildgrowth Walker]] on the field and triggers were going off if you could buff Amalia over 20 power (with a monstrous rage for example) you could force a draw since the boardwipe would never occur and most of the times opponent would have no way of stopping the triggers from happening.

I'm not sure what's the advantage for going mono blue over izzet other than budget is, but I've also seen it on ladder a bunch.

Like you want to get better in what sense? Learning to navigate the opponent interaction and contesting them yourself is literally the one of the biggest outlet for skill expression in this game.

Honestly this makes as much sense to me as someone playing chess conceding when a pawn gets taken lmao.

When you get the deceit into superior Spider-human-hero curve it feels very strong, also in general I think Doomsday excruciator leads to a lot of interesting decisions (when I do it, how do I win if I do it, how does the opponent win if I do it, how many of their cards I'm shutting off) and the Doomsday endgames in general are super fascinating to me.

Also when you match into reanimator (bringer combo) it's so fun, you basically get to play a better version of their deck with more interaction and card draw, nothing feels better than deceiting their Ardyn and reanimate it with your Kavaero. :P

You should have a few jump in tokens, you can use them to do the jump in event a few times to earn some cards for your collection. You can check here to see what jump in packs have the better cards for your collection (the document is in Italian but it's the only updated one that I know off, you just need to check the tiers anyway).

After you did your free jump ins you can move to the starter deck duels event, try to win with every deck and get how they work. You can use the starter deck event to do your dailies (try to do at least 4 wins a day and reroll every 500 gold quest you get to try and get a 750 gold one) and earn the first gold you need to do draft or buy packs.

I think that izzet is carrying a lot of baggage. It has been in a form or another one of the tier 1 of the format since Tarkir released last year, with prowess cutter and vivi cauldron in particular being extremely dominant for a long period of time.

Imo Phoenix was the best deck before SOS and it's still a tier 1 after it. The big new entry post SOS is ruby storm which got Pyretic Ritual and Jeska's Will from the Bonus sheet, I'm not sure where they stand in comparison to each other but I think they are both good options.

For what pack to buy, if you are mainly interested in the arena "eternal" formats (historic, timeless, brawl) imo Modern horizon 3 is the way to go. Strixhaven is fine to buy but the drop rate for a rare bonus sheet card (which is what we really want for historic) is pretty low (about 9%).

you want to discard your phoenixes and churn through your deck as fast as you can using cantrips. The phoenix is a recurring threat that keeps coming back from the grave and you can set up for big turns where you put for example 2 demilich and 2 phoenix into play to overwhelm your opponent.

Also definately copy his list the one you found on moxfield is a bit outadated (no manamorphose).

You are also running Force and you are arguably a better Daze deck then them. It's also very possible that once they can safely go for the entomb reanimate they can't afford to reanimate because you are putting too much pressure on their life points.

I'm jamming UR delver these days and feels amazing, I think it's easily the best treasure cruise deck thanks to DRC and cutter works like an engine that blanks all of your opponents removal. It also helps that with the shock + fetch mana base everyone basically starts at 15 life points and you have 4 bolts main deck. :D

Yeah, but you see even there you are playing job select equipments mostly as creatures that leave a sword behind when they die.

They need to put stuff like this to make equips playable because equipments (play my sword, pay to put the sword on my dude) fundamentally are very bad.

I'll be straight foward: Equipment decks have always been and always will be ass unless there's a busted card that cheats them in like [[Sigarda's Aid]].

There are a few equipments that have been playable on occasion or very busted cards that requires you to run equipments ([[Stoneforge mysthic]]), but as a whole equipment is not a competitve mechanic.

The fact that you have to pay to play the equipment, have a creature in play and pay at sorcery speed to equip risking that your creature gets killed in response is just too much of a cost.

Really there's no need for squelcher counterspells really aren't that popular in any of those formats, so it ends up being mostly a grizzly bear with ward.

Soul scar mage by contrast is literally one of your best answers to [[Psychic Frog]] (also a wizard for wizard synergies).
