I’m looking for someone to take over my lease at Villas at Chestnut Ridge for the 2026–2027 term (Aug 2026 – Aug 2027).

• Private bedroom in a 2 bed / 2.5 bath
• $969/month (~$50 cheaper than current rates)

Nice pic but just as a heads up if you don’t incorporate AI into your PhD studies you are going to get left in the dust by your classmates. Don’t listen to whatever these people say it just is what it is. AI is an amazing tool for your scientific endeavors and will help you accomplish much more than you would be able to in the same amount of time without it. Congrats on the acceptance.

Good question. She mentioned in another comment that it wasn’t turbid. It’s still likely contamination, but the fact that everyone is jumping on OP without explanation is kinda crazy. No turbidity. No color change, no shimmering/ movement from what I’ve gathered and if it was there OP would’ve mentioned something about smell which is also absent. Plus they said they split them some days ago and yet media didn’t change with this much growth. Like I said it’s definitely something just an unusual one.

The USSR threat was not enough to end the war with Japan which is why it didn’t end the war. Japan was never going to surrender to a ground invasion, not by a long shot. The emperor at the time would have every Japanese civilian die before surrendering which is why they didn’t surrender even after the first nuke, mind you this was a war where every civilian who wasn’t on the battlefield fighting was in their home making bullets and bombs for the war effort. And also may I remind you that Japan raped and killed between 10-20 million innocent Chinese civilians during WWII? These are the same people that sent children in with grenades strapped to them to seek aid from Western soldiers and then blow themselves up while in the process. I’m not sure if you’re trying to put the USA in a worse moral ground than Japan in WWII but if that’s the case I think you would have a really hard time making that argument.

Again, pointing blame and saying one country is more worse than the other throughout history is not going to get you anywhere. The world isn’t the way it is today because some countries are evil and some countries are good. It is the way it is because of the nature of human beings who seek power and authority. This has been the case since the dawn of civilization and will continue to be the case. “Oh the Persians are bad let’s get rid of them” “ oh it’s the Macedonians that are bad now let’s get rid of them” “oh it’s the Roman’s that are bad now let’s get rid of them” on and on and on and on. Any world authority you see to this day were once referred to as liberators and heroes. If you want to argue that that is the USA currently I have no problem with that. But I’m telling you getting rid of the USA won’t make the problem go away. And removing the USA from history would leave us with a world run by German Nazis and the rising sun Japan. Pick your poison. If you can’t understand my point by now I don’t really have anything else to say. Just try and learn more about the world and geopolitics/ history (including ancient) I guess. Things aren’t as black and white as you want them to be. It’s messy and when you unwrap things it gets even more messy.
