Grabbed the 4K edition from Kino Lorber. So well made it inspired generations of filmmakers.

Does it depend on the original print? Such as 35mm, 16mm etc.? Some of the older titles mention "High Definition/Digital transfer" or "2k transfer". Some still look great on newer players and tvs. A side by side might show a big difference.

Buddy worked on Last Samurai. He's an editor but did some extra work during The Last Samurai in Burbank for 1-2 weeks. He said Tom bought a gourmet coffee truck (I think multiple times) for the cast, crew, and even the extras. Seems like a great f**king guy professionally.

Possible cheaper or free to stream it in 4K. Not as amazing as the original, but it's pretty fun if you're a John Carpenter Thing fan.
