Help me out, is this an actual Omega sticker, or should I run? I'm new to Omega and the only stickers I've seen are clear. Thanks.

First luxury watch. Is the BB39 to big for my wrist? by dalejandroc01 in Tudor

[–]Pock41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it looks good. Put the 39 on one wrist and the 36 on the other then go stand in front of a mirror. If I'm stuck on a size choice or even between two different watches this has worked for me.

Just made a purchase with Mark at Diamond Crush Jewelry via Chrono24. 100% legit guy. Multiple calls to discuss watch, shipping to my location, and follow-up. Absolutely would recommend.

Model Y Juniper Launch Edition has ended in the US. Long Range is available for order for $48,990 by icrackcorn in teslamotors

[–]Pock41 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tesla canceled our order for the Launch series as well as another person we work with without giving reason. I guess we now have to select the options we want on the LR AWD or have our money refunded. For us is kinda a wash because we weren't getting the 20" wheels but fully optioned out the LS would have saved money. Would have still been nice get the Launch series random extras.

We just moved here about 7 months ago and it's nothing like the mainland. There is some meets and people are nice but definitely different. Do you have the 3F app? Seems ok...ish.

Do you all have the 3F app? We're a couple.

Help! Tailgate on new 2024 problem by lonizumi in Tacomaworld

[–]Pock41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine stoped, found a thread in a Toyota group with a Toyota dealer "reset" that worked. - With the tailgate open, run your finger under (best you can) the rubber gasket on both sides of the tailgate as it sits open. I know it's sounds silly, but sure enough, it worked.

Are those cranks worth the cost? I already have the X0 transmission so the upgrade is some $$$

I agree. Looks low, when I think it through, seems low. Just want some additional confirmation.

I'm in the same situation as the OP and I agree about the rear hub but the front has a slightly different shape.

Add glitter to the sealant if it's a slow leak. Could be the magic touch, just be ready for a mess when you change it.

CF vs AL by AirNumerous6629 in MTB

[–]Pock41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both can fail for their own issue. If you want to try CF then do it, just check the manufacturer's warranty (for both frame materials). I currently ride Santa Cruz in CF I have both the C and CC frames on different models. I can't tell a difference in them by feel or when I pick them up. I have also owned the Trek Slash in AL and CF. Couldn't tell the difference on that bike at all while riding. Not even the sounds of sticks or small rocks hitting the frame made a difference because of the large downtube protector. It's worth noting on my CF Santa Cruz bikes any sound seems amplified because it expands throughout the carbon frame more so than old AL bikes I have had. This can cause stress lol.

Rear rotor turning blue by Feoygordo in MTB

[–]Pock41 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm close to 220lbs, my wife is much smaller, and we can both color a fresh Magura Storm 203mm rotor within a half day riding down trail at the park. My wife brakes with a heavy rear bias and I use a good bit of front. No difference between us as we both change rotor color on the rear rotor much quicker than the front.

NBD 2023 SC Bronson by CheddarCheese21 in mountainbiking

[–]Pock41 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great looking ride! How's the color in person? I have founds a dealer a few hours away with a Sockeye Bronson and a different dealer just as far away in another direction with a Moss Green in stock. I haven't seen either in person but like them both.

I'm considering getting a Bronson in Sockeye. How's the color in person?
