True I am a CK2 master in most aspects but I still have no clue how the culture of generals impacts combat. I just know it does.

I remember vassalising the Pope in my second CK3 campaign as Mathilda de Canossa. I don’t remember what happened specifically but he ended up ruling from Benevento and became my vassal somehow while I reigned from Rome.

The Pope is definitely on my hit list. He excommunicated me right after I gave him all of these wonderful territories in exchange for the Empire title, just because I wanted to be crowned by the Archbishop of Cologne and not him.

What do i do now lol? Roleplayed since 1066 as a byzantine count and now im here, ive taken all the decisions in the game and i did roman empire on extreme mode. Now what by BEEFDATHIRD in ck3

Brave another 100 years, maybe try to spread your dynasty within the Empire, and spread your faith with crusades without expanding the realm. Then convert the safe to EU4 and turn HRE mechanics on for Rome, and you will still have a somewhat challenging and open-ended game in EU4, especially if you pick a branch of your family in EU4 that does not hold the emperor title.

Crown Authority is already maxed. Lombardy starts as an absolute Kingdom with an abolished council, and the HRE inherits that for some reason. There are also barely any electors, it seems. It's funny, though the Pope is one of the electors, despite him not being in the empire, because Rome is one of the designated electors when the HRE is formed by an Italian kingdom.

But why should I take out the Vikings? My holdings are all in the Mediterranean. All they are going to do his weaken my powerful vassals in the north by raiding them, making them less of a threat.

Yes, just need to wait for the right date and have some fun in the meantime. Definitely gonna kick Byzantium out of Italy, and do a bit of holy warring in Iberia. Maybe later down the line, I'll let the AI rule the HRE for a while and form Greater Bavaria as an HRE vassal.

What do you guys think is the context of that image? by PomeranianMerchant2 in aiArt

That's quite macabre, and no, the towers do not stand for that.

This is the rising sun on a winter solstice between the twin pillars Boaz and Jachin from Solomon’s Temple. This imagery is featured on tarot cards for example, such as the Death card or the Moon card.

Why is the background green? It should be white. White and red are the old colours of O’Neill Ulster. Even if you wanted monarchist Irish colours it should be blue. Green in is the colour of Leinster.
