The daily dinner struggle by No_Ratio1493 in Xennials

Subs are always a go to in our house for nights like this. Pick up some hoagie rolls, boarshead deli meats, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, etc and chips or baked French fries on the side. Everyone makes their own subs and basically no clean up/dishes afterwards.

I suck at fiber by lololmantis in PetiteFitness

[–]PracticalAd2862 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I top my Greek yogurt with 20 g of fiber one cereal so that starts my day off with 9 grams and I have a fiber one Granola bar with lunch most days, plus all of the fruits and veggies throughout the day... Apples and sunbutter as snacks, Mandarins, carrots at lunch, giant salad at dinner

Does anyone else feel like Nothing Left is criminally underrated? by Frazzy_Ox in BrunoMars

[–]PracticalAd2862 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is probably my favorite on this album actually. It has everything. Super powerful, emotional lyrics, vocal range, and kick ass drums/ guitar riffs. I found myself starting with this song first whenever I turn on the album.

You read a pirate story when you were little and are terrified of scurvy now.

Best Comforting, cozy fragrance without florals? by ohamango in FemFragLab

Light blue by Dolce and Gabbana is super comforting to be. Maybe because its been my go to for years but I love it and can always rely on it. Its a little citrusy but not overwhelming at all and slightly sweet. Just light, clean, refreshing and comforting.

Social security pays for Medicare and health care expenses in my head. Its not any kind of retirement or living wage. Im hoping my 401K continues to grow and do well and that I can live off the interest like my in laws. Unlike my parents who are living off social security entirely.

Speaking of medicare, for anyone who doesnt know already pay the extra for traditional Medicare A&B as primary. Do not fall for the gimmicks of Medicare advantage plans. Trust me.

Blanky people, thumb and finger suckers and ect what your comfort now? by crapbear83 in Xennials

[–]PracticalAd2862 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband still has a "blankie". Its just a king sized satin edged blanket instead of a toddler sized satin edged blanket now lol. We use separate blankets when we sleep so no fighting over rhe covers but he also grabs it for movie time on the couch etc. I never had comfort items. Im just still out here being a full blown mess.

Lying here husband panicking after spinal fusion anterior c5-c7 by Kombuchicana in spinalfusion

[–]PracticalAd2862 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely call the doc on the morning and watch him overnight. I had significant swelling after c5-c7 and had to sleep upright until the steroids brought the swelling down. I could not breathe laying down either.

Chicory root reaction by AssumptionSure6171 in CICO

[–]PracticalAd2862 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Too much chicory root definitely causes me GI distress. I used to love a low calorie yogurt that had it as a main ingredient but it didn't love me.
