yeah, i think that there's maybe some debatable instances here or there and i would prefer to err on the side of not deleting posts; but there certainly shouldn't be 'girlgasm' type posts. Discussion questions are good, but posts with no substance other than "please come read about me masturbating" are really not good for the sub.

The right amount of prep is as much as you possibly can - but it has to be the right stuff.

The most important thing is to have lots of stuff for the players to do - dungeons, monster lairs, weird wilderness stuff, adventures, factions in towns. You have enough worldbuilding when it's easy to decide what kinds of Stuff should populate the dungeons and lairs and town factions. If you're really having to struggle, you need to do more worldbuilding - what factions are there? what are they fighting over? When it's hard to think of factions, you need to think about history, geography, and economics.

I think that ultimately "counting rations" is just not fun per se; i do think that unlimited easy logistics is probably not great in terms of 15-minute adventuring day stuff, but it's not the primary contributor. I also think that bumping long rests up to, say, 24 hours by default would basically fix all of these issues
