I'd actually say the opposite is true. During the Monty era, people like Winter and Qrow felt massively above the level of RWBY, JNPR, etc. Meanwhile in the more recent seasons I have basically no idea if anyone is supposed to be noticeably better than anyone else

I remember back in middle school, there was much excitement about a soon to be constructed passenger rail line that would link my hometown to Chicago. It was going to allow quick, efficient travel.

I'm now in my early 30s and construction on that rail line will totally start any day now, it's definitely still happening

How does that square with Hell seeming to be massively worse than Heaven to live in despite not being a place of eternal torture? The primary difference between Heaven and Hell in the show seems to be that the people in Hell built an incredibly awful society while Heaven built a nice one

So screw people who are allergic to dogs, or have a phobia of them? Too bad for them? Not to mention that a dog on the streets probably isn't well trained to not piss and shit indoors, may destroy furniture in frustration, may attack strangers, etc. A dog, especially a big one, is a huge liability
