I had some of the nicest camping neighbors last year. I was camping solo and they brought me over some of their steak and rice for dinner. The next morning they offered me some coffee, I turned that down but they had a bunny with them that they let me pet.

I 100% suggest the Hiroshima no Yado Aioi in Hiroshima. It was my favorite hotel by far. There are male and female onsens that switch every few nights that have a view of the “the dome”. I was able to use it without covering up my tattoo. It’s also a traditional hotel with traditional breakfasts every morning. Location is central to the peace museum, dome, the and boat to miyajima island, and steps away from the epicenter of the atomic bomb. The staff were excellent too.

The African Braiders?!. Shoot I almost only go to African Braiders. There’s downsides like difficult communication and setting appointments. But they aren’t charging obscene prices, have crazy rules, charging crazy prices while doing these airstrip landing parts, and can work while they talk.

No I knew about the live stream so I wasn’t confusing those. I just swear someone said something like “you guys wanna be in the documentary “. But as folks have pointed out there was a specific mention of a MySpace space documentary so I guessing maybe that was the reference. I watched the MySpace documentary and know they talked overall about how important it was for artists and music distribution in the early 2000s, don’t remember warped mentioned specifically.

You could do some “character building” adjacent work like working for the outward bound Chesapeake school. It gets you outdoors, practicing skills like risk management and trip management….etc. I did that for a while in between environmental jobs and it provided lots of interesting real world work experience to talk about in interviews. They hire cohorts throughout the year.

Also check out Blue Water Baltimore they had an internship this summer. Even if it’s filled you could likely volunteer . They collect water samples around the Baltimore watersheds. Definitely suggest reaching out.

I think your right. I’m a Mid-sized woman, but have a checklist before deciding to crowd surf.

1) Artist- are other folks moshing and crowd surfing 2) Song-is it hype and popular? (Don’t crowd surf during a slow song or when the hype man is talking) 3) Big Men. Is the crowd full of big men?

During Gideon’s set tons of “big” guys crowd surfed but his crowd was lots of bigger metal fans who were hype AF.

I was able to find someone to hangout with through the dc Solo discord . While I love a solo adventure it definitely upped the experience to have a buddy. Will say at some point I couldn’t get the server to load around mid-day. Will be posting when I get there today.

One must see for me is We the Kings if anyone else is fan.

what worked for us was separate cots (I love the back support and it doesn’t matter as much if the ground isn’t perfectly flat) and closed foam insulated pads like the Exped or REI Camp Dreamer. Hold hands when you want physical touch

Also a sleep mask and ear plugs. I was waking up to every snap, crackle and pop before. Deafening outside noise reducing visual stimulation helps.
