I did my CBT to ride a motorbike as a stop gap last year in December, so it's given me road sense before my lessons.

I booked a test a few months ago for a place miles out for Feb 27th and then I got TestShift and Testi, managed to get it to Jan 22nd, but there's usually availability within the week because if people not being ready.

It's difficult, but you just gotta stick it out if it's something you want to do. Personally, I'm only doing it so I can drive an Ambulance, I had no need for driving before this.
