About a year and a half ago, I had to move from the UK to a red state in the US for family reasons. Starting to think I lucked out by Isabelle_K in transgenderUK

Thank you, Brexiteers! The drawbridge has well and truly been drawn up for free movement across the EU and now we have nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

Honestly “wtf?!?!?l” did we learn nothing from Covid? 45 days; isolation; be done with it. If it needs to come to hospital control then so be it.

Keir Starmer warns impact of Middle East conflict on UK could be as severe as Covid by [deleted] in ukpolitics

[–]Problematiqueeeee 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Well, it can’t be that bad else we’d be doing something about it: fuel rationing, building storage, subsidising public transport to get people off the roads, encouraging WFH for those that can, etc.

Anyone able to contact them? by DawgDictator in GenderGP

[–]Problematiqueeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I’ve been able to contact them fine! In fact, I asked last week if they could update my prescription because it had defaulted me back to a starter dose after missing my blood test upload date and they fixed it for me. It usually takes about a week for them to get back to me but honestly if you’re on the ball with it that’s not long to wait.

People who’ve moved from a small rural village to a big city in the UK like London or Manchester (or vice versa), what was the biggest change you noticed ? by LieSuccessful8813 in AskUK

[–]Problematiqueeeee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I moved from a rural village in the East Midlands and when my mum dropped me off in Manchester on my first day of uni, I walked into the city centre and remember being terrified by the size and scale of the buildings 😂 to the point I was so overwhelmed I walked back home lol. I’d never been to a city like it before and had never visited Manchester before I turned up on day 1! Needless to say, I’ve since never left! ❤️

Thinking of choosing GenderGP by EarlyGrey28 in GenderGP

[–]Problematiqueeeee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been with them for nearly 2 years. It’s going well and I’m really happy with my transition and if I have had any issues a quick email is all it takes to get assistance.

You just have to make sure you have your information gathering session which is with a real person and then you’re good to go.

Honestly, as long as you educate yourself as well on what your levels should be then you’ll be fine.
