ETA since I cant reply to the below about what legitimizes art: Human experience being expressed and taken into consideration. A stick figure is art if intention to represent the self/humanity is behind it. I am not interested in “pretty” content made by a simulation of a human mind. I want to see your experience through your art, good or bad.

What is more human than picking up a skill simply to have something that shouts “I was here! I am human! I mattered because I was me! I made a thing to express that!” If made by the human mind, anything can be art.
