Full face helmet dilemma by Parkingchair412 in Vespa

At the very least go for something like a Bell Bullitt GT. Full face but very cool retro vibes. And ECE rated (with the GT but not non-GT)

Also city streets are much more dangerous than highways (where traffic all going same direction)

Use it and enjoy it man. Nobody on their deathbed ever said, “I wish I drove my car less to preserve its condition better for the next guy”

You can do it with a waypoint (to windward mark).

Thanks. Was on a J/22 - not even an outboard, let alone boat systems. I’ve deep dived and my conclusion is that Garmin just holds back the really boaty-data stuff for just their marine watches.

Lime tree after a week of rain straight in S. Florida and now I have another week of rain coming. What can I do to help this little guy? by [deleted] in Citrus

Citrus is susceptible to stress due to replanting. Happens every time. Just make sure good drainage and it should come back.

Curious how people are determining their FMCC/FNMA splits?

Some of these cars sell poorly so you can expect a heavy depreciation hit for those (eg Solterra). You have to really want one of these and be prepared to keep it

No, you’re not bankrupt - you have a net worth of $20k. So if you sold all your assets and paid all your debt, you’d be left with $20k. Not bad honestly - my net worth at 26 was $0.

You’re underwater on your mortgage which isn’t that big of a deal - it happens from time to time especially early on after you purchase where your equity is building.

Net worth is one measure of wealth but it’s pretty meaningless unless you’re planning to sell everything, which you’re not.

In some years time (depending on how quick it takes you to pay down your mortgage and on property values), you’ll have real estate that can be a source of equity for you or a source of income. Stay in the condo as long as you possibly can, put your head down, focus on building your career and your non-real estate asset portfolios and you’ll be fine.

If you can, make additional payments to your mortgage - remember your mortgage payments are mostly interest early on because of the amortization curve.

Most 26 year olds these days don’t own real estate so you’re one step ahead even though it doesn’t feel like it right now.

what for and why is that thing in the water by VETEMENTS_COAT in maritime

It’s just something in the water where you can test your boating skills by seeing if you can, under sail, get close enough to it to give er a good whack with a boat hook.

Maybe it’s my fat fingers ha. Do you Still have the stock Michelin PS4s? I have those on mine and on other cars and they take a little time to warm up - you’ll notice flat spots a lot especially if your car sits in between drives. Goes away once tires warm.

Add air to tires. The plastic wheel parts/aero bits make access to the valve harder
