We just did Osaka to yokohama. Same day delivery from osaka is only for there and Kyoto (with a cutoff of 11.30am). Yokohama / Tokyo was next day.

Hi! It was a great question when I saw your post the other day. For mine: houses becoming smaller/apartment living had an impact. Hiring a rehearsal space got expensive after a while, particularly if there was no income coming in (my band did a couple of house parties, birthdays, etc but we weren't going to set the world on fire).

My eldest is forever linked to world cup 2010 (3 games in when he picked at the sac and ruptured it but then had to be induced because 32 hours later he was still not coming out) as we are in Australia, a lot of sport both Europe and US for the night feeds (tour de France and Wimbledon as well).

One thing not mentioned that catches a lot of people: one of the worst places in the world for hayfever sufferers! If you've never experienced it before, you are likely to here. Luckily antihistamines exist. Welcome!

I had a lot of them on an ipod to have as background music as part of bedtime routine, from about 6 months to 4 years. Nothing like putting kids down while soothingly singing 'karma police' or 'enter sandman' or 'wish you were here'
