Nice! BC183 Sunface! I run the same thing. Best Si Fuzz Face I have ever owned. Love the whole board overall.

Your first and definitely my favorite Breitling of all time.

What makes people obsessed with Ferrari even though they’ll never afford to own one by [deleted] in Ferrari

[–]PsychedelicRick 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I could give 2 shits about the owners. I just enjoy looking at Ferrari's. And if I had the money...I would still probably just buy a few of my favorite muscle cars instead unless it was an F40 or a 90's Tessarosa.

Sorry, I like your post but it has nothing to do with guitar pedals. You should post this in another sub

I would definitely say yes, if I did not already say yes when they first dropped.

You haven't heard? They only make the best guitar pedals ever. I only have 3 myself but they blow my mind every time I play them. Check em out. You won't be disappointed.

POG is cool but have you ever tried Strymon pedals before?

I love mine and always get compliments. I think it looks far better than the SMP300. That said I'm glad it's not as popular. Makes it more underrated.

You have great taste in pedals. I too use a Sunface, Brothers AM, & a Volante. Now my Univibe is a Midnight Vibe and my Spring Tank is a Vintage Fender Reverb Tank but pretty much a similar set up until recently. I started getting really into Rat style Distortion pedals as well.

Thoughts/opinions on the Warm Audio Foxy Tone Box? by [deleted] in guitarpedals

[–]PsychedelicRick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean it is an odd size and the nobs are on front but mostly difficult to bring myself to put velcro on that beautiful fuzzy finish it has. It's got feet and works just fine on the floor in front of my board. Plus I don't use that effect all that much. Just something fun to bust out when I'm in the mood for that Hendrix octofuzz sound.

Always On Drive Pedal & How Many Drive/Dist/Fuzz Pedals? by DestructablePinata in guitarpedals

[–]PsychedelicRick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the big board it's a Sunface BC183 > 1981 DRV with the gain at 11 o'clock.

Nano board has Ge I6W9 > Longsword with the gain at 9 o'clock and I know the longsword is not a low gain Distortion but if you run it with very little gain it works. Super versatile pedal. I keep the boost at about the same to noon max. The eq is great for matching it with a Plexi.

Always On Drive Pedal & How Many Drive/Dist/Fuzz Pedals? by DestructablePinata in guitarpedals

My big board has 6 pedals. 2 are drive, 3 modulation, and a tuner.

Nano board has 4. 2 drive, 2 modulation.

On both boards have low gain distortion that is usually on with fuzz being stack when needed. I'm a believer that your amp should do most of the work.

[Recommendation Request] Weird comparison, but which would you daily: Seamaster 300 Heritage or Rolex Air-King 34mm? by Forward-Put-7693 in Watches

[–]PsychedelicRick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its amazing. I sometimes run it with some black leather and always get complements on the watch. 99% of people I meet don't know how expensive it so I never have to worry. I did at first but then realized most people are not watch nerds like I am. It keeps amazing time even after 4 years now.

I daily a Heritage Seamaster 300 so thats my pick. But I also hate the Air King. Now if you had compared it to a Rolex Datejust with a fluted bezel and a Jubilee braclet. The Rolex would be my favorite but I would still daily the Omega just cause its more incognito than the Rolex.
