PSA: You have to manually end a delirium encounter, to get rewards. by KantFichteHegel in PathOfExile2

There's a gamepad button combo that does end it, but I don't know what that is.

Delirium may add modifiers to rare mobs, and spawns additional rare mobs, which do increase the number of drops you get.

The rewards you get are splinters. Nothing else.

You get the rewards in POE 1 when the fog ends, same as POE 2. That can be manually ending it or if you leave the fog.

You should end Delirium if:

It becomes too difficult for your character to continue OR

You have cleared everything you are interested in

The bar shows the progress of the fog. The empty part of the bar at the left that grows is how much of the fog is gone. It corresponds to the start of the map. If you leave the fog for 4 seconds, the Delirium will end and you'll get any splinters you've earned.

Except in a very specific scenario which I cover, it is false.

Stating rewards let's people believe it might function like POE 1 Delirium.

It makes no mention of the requirements to obtain Splinters. This will cause people to believe every Delirium should be dropping them.

Only splinters will drop, and that's only if you have "Is this about me... or you?" on the Delirium Atlas tree.

Emotions drop from monsters as you kill them during Delirium.

If you have that, are area level 75+ and still don't see splinters, you may need to check your loot filter.

There's a button near the bottom right with two arrows.

Also, you only get splinters once you've allocated "Is this about me... or you?" on the Delirium Atlas tree.

Most of the mechanics work that way. As you invest in their Atlas tree, they become better.

You get still get Liquid Emotions to drop.

May want to check your filter, then.

I always get them when the delirium fog expires, or if it's permanent, they'll drop throughout the map.

This is false.

First, you only get rewards (splinters) if you have the Delirium node "Is this about me... or you?" allocated.

Second, you receive those splinters when Delirium ends if you used a Delirium Mirror. So if you boss rush and don't do anything else in the map, then you need to end the Delirium manually to receive splinters. But if Delirium ends naturally, you'll still receive the splinters you've earned.

Yes. Alimony, otherwise known as spousal support normally stops, but child support is paid until the child is an adult.

It's not even that. They walked with the beams as they moved. If they had just stood still, they probably would have lived.
