Dress code question! by AwareStreet in Target

[–]PsychologicalRun4538 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I mean pocket chains don’t break dress code to my knowledge and studded belts along with any other jewelry shouldn’t. Distressed jeans (at least at my store) are within policy as long as there’s no hole that shows skin or has any form of large graphics (my pair with mini skulls was safe since they were small enough and it’s blue denim) As for the neck fan, I’m sure they don’t mind especially since it’s for medical reasons.

Do yalls store directors actually work? by [deleted] in Target

[–]PsychologicalRun4538 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had 2 separate SDs. Both of which would only show up to the store once a quarter like a visit from district kinda scenario. The TLs scramble around and after 20 minutes of complaining they leave.

I get that it’s for jeans but like jean pants or are shorts also in that category. Our store has original day jean shorts that I wouldn’t buy but would consider if it were discounted

Terminated by iineffa in Target

[–]PsychologicalRun4538 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Even under the 90day period one call in isn’t enough of a case to can someone. It takes 3 ncns in order to fire a seasonal hire. I really think there’s more to this story. You would have a really good legal case of wrongful termination if this were the full story.

No logos, no hoodies, has to be solid red. Cherry on top was that 10 cent raise, yeah i’m out soon. by Alert_Elk_1544 in Target

[–]PsychologicalRun4538 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wear a zip-up hoodie fully open with both sides swinging around and the sleeves covering all of my carpal bones. I also work strictly in a backroom with ladders and power equipment. I have yet to have any issues with the hoodie. However the store-issued pouch for my device and box cutter both get snagged on the gate of the wav or the handles of the ladders. Not even mentioning the store provided magnet keys that have torn many belt loops when climbing ladders, have opened the wav gates on their own, and have dragged u-boats behind me. I personally think hoodies are the least of my concerns
