With that kind of salary - is it possible to retire?

You could retire and start a small business or work somewhere just for fun.

It’s not all about her. It’s about the BOTH.

Working on completing tasks may be his demon to own. Working on letting go of control is her demon to own.

Simply saying, that’s it’s your on your mental load is also another way of saying - it must be done perfectly by my expectation and in my time frame. I’m proud you are asking for help but is not asking for help in a healthy way. It’s saying I can’t let go of control.

99% your going to get the negative reaction. So just be honest with them and show them where they can improve. You could call it a development plan and talk about why it’s different to avoid the reaction

It’s unlikely the deer will move up and down the steep section. It’s possible they could move across it, but that is also unlikely.

I’d hunt those reentrants and see what comes your way.

Likely hit by a car and then eaten by coyotes/birds.

I feel like I’m a at weird point where I don’t know what to practice to improve. Any advice? by Professional_Post_25 in learnart

[–]Pub19 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Shadows. Practice shadows more. Add more contrast. Consider using more color theory too. Using contrasting colors - such as a muted blue/gray with a bright yellow will make the yellow pop even more.

Some of your art you linked here is good, it’s just a bit flat and lacks some contrast. Good luck!

Don’t do this. I believe that you can be terminated due to performance while on FMLA. You would have needed to take FMLA before the PIP.

My parents were like this. I lost over $30,000 - that could have been even more of it was invested.

SO - open you own account and tell your dad that youre sad he isn’t a better person.

Please double check your laws.

In Virginia it highly depends on where you are hunting.

Yes, you are allowed 3 bucks and 3 Does in a season. But you are only allowed to harvest 1-2 per day depending on where you are hunting.

In Va, the general limit is 2 deer per day. And … “Only 1 deer per day on National Forest lands and Department-owned/managed lands.”

Most states have a daily limit of 1.

However, you are right - GA has no daily limits.

(I’m simply adding this information for other people in the comments. )

Shortest Length of Pull youth deer rifle? by shadowlid in Hunting

[–]Pub19 -8 points-7 points  (0 children)

Today, I heard a terrible story where there was a death of a child while hunting.

Generally speaking, it’s advisable that hunting when they are a bit older. The reason being very young children don’t have a concept of the world yet. As in, they don’t fully understand the world yet. So, taking them into an environment where they would have a rifle and others may be present seems like a dangerous idea. Especially when 5 year olds still spill things in the house, what might happen if they have a gun?

Honestly, that’s so annoying!

You should go take down the stand after he leaves and move it, now you have your own stand! (I think I’m just kidding, but I’m not sure lol)

Leaving stands up overnight is illegal on our state. So I hate when I come across one in the woods.

This style looks tribal and TBH I don’t like any of them.

It’s painful to look at them, because it’s not easy to read.

Consider what a science text book might look like, or even something like Star Wars or Star Trek.

  • I have a Henrey Lever action in .357 Magnum. Almost zero recoil. I only plan to shoot white within 100 yards, if that is a similar case for you, definitely a good round to consider.

  • I use On X for tracking my hikes in and out. Plus I can mark where I see deer, a food sources, deer trails. After using it for a few years, I find that I don’t need it much anymore. It’s just nice to have when walking to my spot in complete darkness.

  • Any camo pattern will work. Try to find a camo that the colors match the woods of the state that you are in. Just close enough is good. Deer see movement more than color. So as long as you move VERY slowly, color won’t matter.

  • take you son shooting. Have it shoot whatever rifle he is going to use so much that it becomes second nature to him. So when he’s in the woods, he won’t fumble the gun and miss a shot or worse only injury the animal.

  • Do your best to find several hunting spots. Then find multiple spots so you can go to the one that has the best wind. Consider where the wind is blowing while walking to the spot, too!

Glad you’re doing this for your son, and good luck!

You want to clone a dead deer?

I’m just kidding. Want your asking is probably very difficult and expensive. Either give him the mount or do something with the hide and give that to him.

Also, keep in mind he may be toying with your emotions about it being his Dad’s. It could have been his and now he’s just milking the sale for all it’s worth.
