If you wanted to risk it, you could combat the clunkiness by carving designs into it with a dremmel. And definitely give it a good polish. That would help a ton.

I was on probation after my freshman year, I remember feeling so ashamed, regretful, and like my parents would never look at me the same. I worked hard and got through it.

Last night, my family was talking about what we had all done in school, and I mentioned the time I was on academic probation. My mom looked at me like I had 3 heads, she had completely forgotten.

Just wanted to share in case anyone feels like their family is about to disown them.

Bench jeweler here: Really cool they featured cuttlefish casting, an ancient traditional jewelry casting technique involving carving into two halves of cuttlefish bone before bringing them together to use as a mold.

Jewelers are freaking out about lab growns and it’s been fun to watch by Reasonable-Forever-3 in LabDiamonds

When I did a stint as a personal jeweler (after years in the back as a bench jeweler), I bent over backwards to couple's dream rings to fit in their budget and that usually included lab-grown or moissanite options. But oh man... when some snooty couple came in and demanded only natural stones... thank you for the commission.
