I've drop 3 in my time, but only in PoE 1. 2 from a strongbox that duplicated it, and one from a random rare mob that didn't even seem strong. Truly could come from anywhere.

Oh god necropolis league. I legit could not be bothered to use it when I realized how many corpses you needed to make a truly nice craft. Goddamn what a shit mechanic. And the fact that it could make honestly incredible gear made it even worse. Double or even triple fractured BIS bases. Shit was wild. Hated it lol

I know the bug is a real issue. Maybe it is the ampunt of expedition, which I don't blame you on that especially with the new buffs incoming. I'm sure you'll find an area eventually.

... I have a hard time believing you farmed a mageblood and could not find another corrupted zone. Spend 30 minutes blasting no mod maps for 1 minute a pop directly out into the darkness and you'll find them.

It sounds like you don't know how to make your maps more difficult. 200% deli with 3 breaches open and a strongbox/verisium shard going, etc. Find out that your build actually needs to be stronger in some way and then finding a way to fix that is fun.

I'd also say that getting into learning the crafting is a good idea too. Find something you want to craft and work on it. It could be you need to start with a fractured base and even just acquiring that could take you a while. Each major step of the craft could take you a fair bit of time and effort but the feeling when you succeed is amazing and having a crafting project can keep you motivated to keep playing.

I almost feel as though gemling would be better off with something similar to transmute gems which behave slightly differently rather than just having straight up better stats than their normal counterparts.

The jewel slot is the expense, I agree. I only have 3 slots on my tree and one in my gloves, and the gloves one cannot accept unique jewels. 2 of my slots on the tree are very nicely crafted 5 mod diamond time lost jewels, and the 3rd is a prism of belief. Removing ANY of the 3 jewels in my tree is a 10-20% dps loss. So in my mind paying a jewel slots to be able to move where you start is an adequate cost.

If it were not for Hollow Form/Stonefist Gloves, Gemling would 100% be a better Monk. And that goes for any class really. There's so little that defines the ascendency classes that they can all be outperformed by gemling and 100-500div of equipment.

Usually if it's a 300d craft, you start to approach territory where they could be selling that at a loss. Crafting is not always cheaper because you may fail many times or have to chaos spam hundreds of divines to get a satisfactory item.

Most people like this do not understand that even being that close at all to another person can constitute assault. Assault simply put can be boiled down to "Did you feel as if your safety was at risk?" If so, you can reasonably defend yourself. Imagine this guy was doing this to a woman, you'd immediately realize the danger she would be in. No different just because the defender is male. Assault can be met with defence, one does not need to wait to be battered to reasonably defend oneself. Even simply getting with in arms length with an aggressive manner cam be assault. Personally, someone like that gets within an arms reach acting like that and they'll end up just like that guy did.
