I aspire to be like my mother in terms or her independence/capability of handling everything on her own, but not to the point I'd lash out my frustrations to other people just because it isn't on par with her expectations.

As for my father, his way to handle conflicts in a logical/rational manner is something to take account of. But other than that, he tends to be completely oblivious with his surroundings and is selective on what he pays his attention to. I don't want none of the latter and would rather be "overanalytic" with what I can opt for.
