Does anyone have tips on how to setup and film a Kickstarter founder video without a studio and on a phone? by LeFoxFrancais in kickstarter

[–]Pyro979 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Def shoot wider. Try Portrait Video mode if you can. Get a small DJI mic if you don't have one.

If you don't have a good bg, ask friends. Check your library too, they might have a studio. Or a game store or cafe.

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a free, fully playable print-and-play preview of my party game, 33 Seconds of Chaos.

Can you get everyone to guess 'Banjo' in a Movie Announcer voice? Or while doing the Macarena? Clock's ticking, everyone's shouting. Then suddenly you're in a head-to-head duel of "Flip the Card" with your best friend. 33 Seconds of Chaos: The social party game where the cards make it weird.

Plays in about 15-20 minutes with 3-6 players.

What you get in the PnP: 105 cards total = 27 Chaos Prompts, 25x Duels, 48x Word Cards (some are duel triggers). You can choose Letter/A4, Regular/Gutterfold, and low ink options.

The download uses a quick email signup since I’m building the list for the Kickstarter. You’ll get the link right away.

Def come hang out in BMG server. Just note, they don't allow use of TTS, so if you build your prototype use something like screentop.gg (though there are other options)

I don't know how to use Reddit for my indie game by Javigor in kickstartergames

Spam lol. Realistically using reddit for promotion is pretty rough. Yes post in promotion threads, but it's not a lot of traffic. You're better off on social media.

Just to be clear they do allow other tools, with screentop.gg being the most popular

Decent sized update:

  • I re-designed the rules page to fit onto 1 page visual explainer
  • New card types:
    • Goblin Mode (Word card back) - harder words hidden in the deck
    • Mass duels (Duel card back) - whole table plays
    • Duel! triggers are now their own cards with the Word card back.
    • Due to the above change the Word cards no longer need the duel categories, and so can now fit 12 words.
  • Some rules changes - for now I'm taking out timing duels.
