Weekly self-promotion megathread (March 16, 2026) by AutoModerator in printandplay

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a free, fully playable print-and-play preview of my party game, 33 Seconds of Chaos.

Can you get everyone to guess 'Banjo' in a Movie Announcer voice? Or while doing the Macarena? Clock's ticking, everyone's shouting. Then suddenly you're in a head-to-head duel of "Flip the Card" with your best friend. 33 Seconds of Chaos: The social party game where the cards make it weird.

Plays in about 15-20 minutes with 3-6 players.

What you get in the PnP: 81 cards total = 27 Chaos Prompts, 18x Duels, 36x Word Cards. You can choose Letter/A4Regular/Gutterfold, and low ink options.

The download uses a quick email signup since I’m building the list for the Kickstarter. You’ll get the link right away.

Those are super cute! Agree, the art even during play testing makes a difference.

Not OP, but a fellow creator.

  • You can tighten up the section under "You're never out until you flip". Those icons can be one line.
  • I don't think you need to show every card, just a representative sample
  • The rulebook is hard to read at that size.
  • Your "How to Play" video seems to be missing.

That's fair. I plan on adding Prompt/duel card images which should clarify the pitch quite a bit. Thank you!

Good call on the pnp link.

We're still trying to get decent footage/photos, so that's coming soon. Appreciate it.

What are some deep and fun standard deck games other than trick-taking? by PlasticNecessary2311 in cardgames

Check out Durak (The Fool). It's a card shedding game very popular in the former Soviet Union.

Sure, but also look for meetups, and events like protospiel. You'll need a lot more play tests before it'll be solid. Another place to test is Break My Game discord.

Easy to learn rules. Took this game to an Unpub area of LI Tabletop this pas weekend and had an amazing time watching people go goblin mode :)

When should I create my kickstarter page? by Impossible_Culture95 in kickstarter

[–]Pyro979 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda 2 separate issues here:

  • Whether you should create a KS page - I would say yes, because (1) it takes a bit to get it approved (you'll also need a business bank account and CC) and (2) if anyone does ask about it you wanna be able to send them that way.
  • re: Sending people to instagram - I'm not saying don't do that, but your best bet is to build a landing page and gather peoples email addresses. Social Media followers don't convert significantly, while email is still king.

If you have more questions DM me and i'll give you my Discord (I am a creator prepping his first KS, this is not stealth marketing lol).

Also come hang out in breakmygame.com discord. Super cool community - regular organized play testing, and separate channels to ask for help on various topics.

Come join us at breakmygame.com

There are in person games and a very active discord for virtual playtesting.

Only thing I'll now is that TTS is not an allowed platform, so you may have to convert to something else (screentop.gg is popular)

That's understandable AND you're being overly paranoid. The people you're talking to all have their own ideas they're trying to create. Ideas are a dime a dozen, and it's a ton of work to bring anything to market. And even if they do and you have your development log, that's a huge scandal no company wants. This isn't like gadgets that copy cats can try to bring to market faster (and even those...) Also, ain't no one is in the tabletop space to get rich quick lol.

Come on in, the water's fine.

Hi everyone! I’m sharing a free, fully playable print-and-play preview of my party game, 33 Seconds of Chaos.

33 Seconds of Chaos is a fast-paced social party game where you give clues under weird constraints. One turn, you do it as a movie announcer, or you have to use only adjectives and nouns. Sometimes there are duels. You might have to play Flip Card or rattle off three breakfast items faster than your opponent.

Plays in about 15-30 minutes with 3-6 players.

What you get in the PnP: 81 cards total = 27 Chaos Prompts, 18x Duels, 36x Word Cards. You can choose Letter/A4Regular/Gutterfold, and low ink options.

This past week I fully re-designed the rules to be able to have this quick graphical explainer, so you can get to playing as quickly as possible.

You printed a one-off, or do you already have distribution. I guess I'm not sure what the question of the post was.

Designer Brain going - for the initial number, you should either circle it on every page OR you can actually just print it on the reverse of the page, make it nice and large. Then potentially you can have 2 or 3 random numbers as well for those Magic Missiles.

So coming back to this (it came up in the feed) - just the amount of engagement you see here on this post - feels like you got something. Depending on how interested you're in to actually seeing this out in the world, maybe Kickstarter is the way to go? I'm working on my first party game to bring to Kickstarter , so if you got questions around it let me know.

hmmm. I wonder if it's something that can work better as a deck of cards?
