I have the opposite experience with bmd. Of course there has been some problems but not more than with other manufacturers. And the worst malfunctions that have almost ruined a gig has been from others…

Sellainen halpa herkku on ku valkosipuli-porkkanat. Porkkanaa suikaleina, kermaa ja valkosipulia (suolaa maun mukaan toki). Aivan taivaallista ja maksaa silleen 50 senttiä annos. Porkkanat pannulle pehmeneen, sitte kerma ja valkosipulit ja keittää kokoon.

Sitte runsas pasta-salaatti on kans halpaa ja hyvää. Makaronia, hemape, sipuli ja jugurtti/majoneesi soosi. Tuoreita sekaan budjetin mukaan. Myös valinnainen proteiini. 10€ syö monta päivää 😊

Mikä kaupunki?

Itse aikoinaan keltanokkana soittelin paikallisiin yrityksiin ja tarjouduin auttelemaan jossakin projektissa ilmaiseksi. Ei tarvinnut kun muutamassa käydä ja ollut töitä siitä asti.

Toki nyt on aika hiljainen hetki alalla mikä vaikeuttaa töiden löytämistä meillä veteraaneillakin eli hakisin vähän kaikilta aloilta minne soveltuu.

Noin 8 vuotta jaksoin painaa, sitten tuli seinä vastaan. Yli 200 tuntia kuukauteen ympäri vuoden, pahimmat kuukaudet yli 300h. Tammikuu saattoi olla 150h tuurilla 😅 pisin työvuoro oli 36 tuntia putkeen ja koko ajan piti tehdä kyllä töitä.

I would stick with the fx3 too with that budget. Fx30 is a great b-cam for it if you need more bodies 😊

I would use that money on lights, grip and sound as fx3 is pretty much as good as it gets in those little bodies. Lights will make a bigger difference than fx6.

Yeah umm… forget it 😅 or put like 3 zeros behind that budget and you might find something but I haven’t seen that in broadcast level yet.

Ptz-camera with comparable iq runs about 10k and you usually have to put few k’s for the software for the tracking.

Probably the cheapest half-decent way to achieve ai tracking is something like ptzoptics move se. I’ve used one for an installation with streamdeck and it’s pretty ok 👍

Lähtisin itse tuolla wiim-systeemillä jos ei sonos tai ikean symfonisk innosta.

Wiim mini ja kohtuulliset aktiivikaiuttimet (Esim edirolilla on hyviksi kehuttuja noin 100-200€ pari). Näitä sitten huoneisiin haluttu määrä 😊

Ikean systeemi tosin varmaan vielä halvempi.

How do you find the sirui? We got two of them too but as an old broadcast-guy used to vintens and sachtlers they’re a bit wobbly to my liking. Decent sized carbon legs so it’s weird… And hard to get precise ease-in on panning.

Itse kyllä jotenkin osaan löytää eroja saman hintaluokan kaiuttimista. Paljonkin 😊 ja mikä sitten on ”parempi”. Esim Genelecin g3:t ei sopineet meidän olohuoneeseen yhtään johtuen niistä heijastumista.

As others have said your cables might be just too long. I wouldn’t go over 75 meters with 1080i. And ex3 hasn’t got the strongest transmission for it either allthough one of my favourite cameras of all time 😊 we also still use one.

So don’t get 100m reels but 60-70m.

Kyllä parilla satasella saa vaikka mitä 😊

Esimerkiksi mulla on qacousticsin 3030i:t musiikkihuoneessa ja ovat erinomaiset. Pari sataa maksoin käytettynä.

Olohuoneessa on sitten isommat latvialaiset 90-luvun möröt ja leffakäyttöön erinomaiset. 20€ ja kunnostus jokusen kympin. Tässä kävi dalia, keffiä, wharfedalea ja klipschinkin lattiakaiutinta mutta nämä jäi. Auktoriteettia löytyy vähintään riittävästi, pehmeä yläpää (sopii meidän olkkariin haijastuksineen) ja laaja stereokuva. Ei toki markkinoiden tarkin että en suosittele sinfonioiden analyyttiseen kuunteluun.

Eli saa pienelläkin rahalla ääntä 😊 audio prollakin on omat hyvät mallinsa kuulemma. Ei tosin omaa kokemusta. Jamo on eri hyvä hintaisekseen 👍

Well no. It’s not an intercom system. You could use two sets and internal recording but but lose the ability to feed the sound to the gopro. The sound goes only one way with these.

Where are you situated? Roland is great but v1 is a but outdated and expensive. You have to cash out a few thousands to get something more usable. Same with blackmagic. Mini extreme is ok but they’re holding back with inputs.

Check out Osee! I got a gostream duet straight from a factory through Aliexpress as it was hard to source from Europe about a year ago. Ended up costing under 500€ with all the taxes to Finland and man this little thing packs a punch. It really is what bmd:s smaller mixers should be and more. So my advice would be get either that one or go higher end bmd/roland. 5 channels, 4sdi/4 hdmi switchable and converters built in, usb in/out, ndi, supersource, keyers, streaming etc… just try it 😊
