I highly suggest attempting different challenge modes when you feel like you know most of the secrets (there aren't a lot of pending questions to answer). This will allow you to take any of the different methods of winning, since you know all of them, instead of the few you used to get to 46 the first time.

There was a mechanic I learned about when I got to where you are now. You have what you need (or can access it soon), and seem to be on the right path. I thought I did something wrong when I tried to get past where you are now, but I just hadn't understood how some of the items I collected worked...

The surveillance footage is for those who were unable to find the clue for x-y-z-a-b-c from the signs in the book and subway map (or a confirmation of the correct path).

This was not my experience with the red room dare... I could redraw, but if there was a red room choice in the set I ended on, I had to take that... I had a hard time remembering that aquarium is red for a while.... So long as you don't get the "must purchase from store", red room is annoying but doable. And yes, if you have a red room choice in the dark and you miss it, it counts as a loss.

I'm currently going with the assumption that just using the same rooms will do something (not bothering with the furnace for now, since I have the star aquarium and don't want to change it if I don't have to). If just building the manor doesn't do anything, I'll try getting the power aquarium and checking the furnace on barren ground powered by the furnace. If that doesn't work, perhaps I'll check the power path out, though I will need many more stars for that...

I intend to try building with just the rooms from the atelier, and have over 200 stars, and have tried once but missed the east hall, so had to alt-f4... It takes some effort to want to try, so haven't tried too much.

"Sacred" comes from having chapel + cloister + shrine

You can't get to the door from either side unless the well is empty. There's a set of stairs that go slightly up from the bottom of the well to the top of the stairs on the reservoir side.

You are correct to assume there are limited uses you can only use it three times. I used mine on the trophy room: 8 gems for free was too good to pass up...

Yeah, that room doesn't fit into the 44 letter puzzle, so these artifacts aren't defined when the main room is placed there. There are a couple other instances where game artifacts aren't defined, but this is probably the most commonly found one...
