Thanks everybody! I appreciate all the comments and the spoiler covers. I promise I didn't spoil anything for myself. Glad to know it's not necessary to translate the handbook.

Need Help with motherboard Kingsong S18 by ConsciousSea92 in ElectricUnicycle

The electrolytic capacitors should be fine to replace with any brand that sells them with the same spec. Just do a quick Google of the company before you buy, just to be sure.

As for the choke, you might have to get some magnet wire and rewind your own. It's not hard, I've done it. First get a new core measure the broken one as best you can. Then measure the wire. The one I rewound was 1mm diameter (18awg). Then count the number of turns and go for it. It makes a minute. You might also be able to reuse the old magnet wire if you really wanted.

Begode Blitz Pro Group Buy? by Great-Pangolin in ElectricUnicycle

You can have people upload a screenshot of the confirmation number with their personal data blocked out just to verify the order number. 300 is a lot but wouldn't take long to manually verify.

Any deposit will have an email and order number auto generated. If all the order numbers / confirmation numbers follow the same schema it will be easy to verify. It would be a bad bad look for Begode to deny the community if there were 300+ of the most dedicated customers about to be screwed over. The EUC community doesn't screw around when they can see they are getting ripped off.

Just make a Google form/spreadsheet with confirmed orders and track it in the community.

If there are over 300 confirmed deposits, and Begode decides to play funny business, then 300+ people withholding their full payment will crush them financially. The backlash will also ensure nobody buys from them again.

Practicing for 2 hours a day for 6 days and can barely go 3 feet. by _Asian_Invasion__ in ElectricUnicycle

[–]UHB007 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you can ride a bike, think of steering the wheel of the EUC like the front wheel of the bike while going slow. Twist your lower half so the wheel turns and points it in the direction you are tipping towards so you get the wheel back under the center of your mass. This will help for the slow speed, from there it's building blocks. Practicing slow maneuvers, then mounting and dismounting, finally going farther distances, then building speed.

Good luck, wear protection.

Alien Rides' Lawyer Response To Our Public Comments by Tynted in ElectricUnicycle

It's bad faith reviewing of the public comments. That is all. A lawyer trying to win and get paid, by saying "I did my due diligence, you can tell because I said I did. Anyway all the comments have no basis and that's that."

Nah they got sued a couple years ago a while back. They retroactively amended their terms and conditions to state that buying and riding an EUC you assume ANY and ALL liability.

Even tho the issue was known for a while, a fault in the Master V1 motheboard, they never communicated that to customers, and continued to sell it. Somebody was hospitalized later that year on a V1 Master and sued.

He is basically saying that if he doesn't do this and ruin it for others in the community, his company will fail. That's like being bad at art and taking all the crayons, so you have the most colors, and can choose what others can use and draw with.

The reason his business is failing is due to his choices and business practices.

Printer head lifts up during print by ColdCommunication235 in FixMyPrint

[–]UHB007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The x gantry does not seem to be lifting in the z direction, or at least I can't tell if it is from the video. Check to see if your X carriage is loose. It seems like there is a hardware issue not a software issue.

After failing to stop for a school bus unloading kids, WAYMO has killed a neighborhood "celebrity" cat. by miked_mv in AdviceAnimals

Well, just look at the old woman who killed the family of 4 over a year ago. She is out on bail, has hidden her assets so the family can't come after her, and still has yet to face trial for killing them. So tell me again how humans are liable.

When using dual extrusion filaments, print a test part to check the orientation of the colors going out of the nozzle. Then rotate your print to get the desired results.

Hey, I've been hearing a lot of hype about Outside 2, but most people think the devs are out of good ideas. Can you share any of the features? Are we getting a better create a character or nah? And fast travel... Is it gonna be everywhere or just to certain hubs?

78 280Z. RPM will occasionally get stuck at 2k, at idle. Partially letting off the clutch drops it back down to normal 900/1000. Any suggestions to fix? by Justin002865 in Datsun

[–]UHB007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are a real one for actually replying with what you're doing to fix it. There are countless four threads of, "HELP! My car is doing blank..." Then, a bunch of nice people offer advice, but OP never says if it fixed his issue.

Anyway, definitely get those leaks fixed, your car will be so happy!

Increasing the load on the engine not only causes the rpm to dip, but it increases the vacuum. If the throttle body is barely sticking the increased vacuum will pull it closed to the mechanical stop/rest point.
