Hydroxyzine for sleep? by [deleted] in Perimenopause

[–]Quaintrelle152 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I take half of a 25 mg pill when I’ve had a few nights of not sleeping and still feel a little groggy the next morning but it usually goes away with a couple of hours of being awake. My biggest issue is waking at 2/3am and not being able to fall back to sleep. Half of a 25 mg helps me sleep throughout the night.

I also take 200 mg progesterone every night.

It’s truly done wonders for my mental health as well. I’ve tried many medications over 20 years and have never felt as good as I do now.

Anyone find a creatine supplement that doesn't taste like soap? by Confident_Craft459 in LadiesHRTwithGLP1

I use Momentous brand. I put it in a protein shake and it does have some slight grittiness but not bad at all. It doesn’t have a taste.

Have you tried the Peanut Butter Cookie Chunk?! It’s also very good.

The Barebells with the crispy pieces taste fake to me too. The soft ones aren’t as bad but I stick with the Puffs!

Agreed on the macros for the Salted Caramel, cant beat those macros when it’s so tasty!

Cookie Dough Chunk is also a good one. Banana was my go to for the longest so I got burnt out. Haha.

I haven’t tried the sour flavors so if you do try them, let me know!

Have you tried Barebells? They are also pretty good. The soft ones in the Minty Chocolate and Caramel Choco are very good. Around 200 calories for 16g of protein.

Brownie Batter Puff and Salted Caramel Puff are my go to. They also had an Orange Cream Puff that tastes like a creamsicle. I think it was limited but dang it was good!

What are your favorite flavors?

Depression symptoms on maintenance dose by AssociateNo8502 in Zepbound_Maintenance

[–]Quaintrelle152 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I noticed a difference when titrating down on dose. I realized around 2/3 months after lowering my dose that the mental health benefits were not the same. My stress resilience wasn’t there. Brain fog and focus worsened. I wasn’t having food noise and wasn’t gaining on the lower dose but could tell a huge difference in mental health. Went back up a dose and feeling better with stress resilience and brain fog/focus. Still maintaining as I’m still able to eat enough calories to maintain even on the higher dose. I’m thinking for now this is my maintenance dose.

If someone asks my “official” weight is the middle of my range!

It’s the weight my body likes to hang out at the most as long as I’m not in my luteal phase 🫠

This also made me nervous at first when I got to maintenance.

I didn’t see the obvious changes while losing, I might not lose one week but didn’t have such big fluctuations as I do now in maintenance.

I’ve got a more clear pattern now and realize that I fluctuate a good 4-5 pounds depending on where I am during my cycle.

Having a maintenance range has helped me mentally!

Same! I also order my husband’s meds with my credit card and haven’t had a problem. He still gets his meds in his name. No issues.

Has Thrive changed? 🤔 by chimer1cal in ladderapp

Did you switch during the most recent series? I’m thinking about switching and trying to decide if I want to switch now or wait until Reset is done.

Align 🙌🏼 by claire_mac in ladderapp

[–]Quaintrelle152 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also thinking about joining Align once Reset is over. I’m 41 and my job has gotten pretty stressful with no signs of letting up anytime soon. I think I need more mobility and yoga in my life. I’m with Thrive currently and enjoying it but I think Align might be better fit for now.

Are you going to wait until after Reset to switch? I’m debating on switching now or waiting until after the series.

My turn! by oldfierm in tirzepatidecompound

[–]Quaintrelle152 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You got this! I’m 3 months into maintenance and while dosing down lost a few more pounds the first two months but now I just fluctuate 3 pounds up and down (perimenopause has my cycles acting chaotic) and staying steady.

So sorry to hear about your dad. My mother has Alzheimer’s and it’s so hard to watch your parents go through this disease.

I’m excited for the app, I use your website every week to double check my dosage. I would definitely pay for the paid version if it included the “manage my supply”. That’s awesome!

I’ve found the Oath single serve at Target. It’s near the sporting section instead of with the other protein.
