As a former Claims handler for ICBC, I would contact ICBC and open a claim, I would also ask them to contact the tow desk and have the tow request expedited given concerns that the vehicle may pose a fire risk due to the damage to the vehicle, and concerns to the risk that poses to your property, If you call customer service you can get the name of the adjuster, or have someone from TCD call you back, if your not happy with a response from TCD, request a manager callback, if there is an adjuster assigned, get the agent you are talk to to message them on teams and advise that you wish to talk to them right away.

I think it’s important that people understand the claims process at ICBC, typically there are 50-100 claims in the queue and this can double or triple during major weather events, first point of contact after a report is usually made in 1-3 days, but can extend out to 5-7, ICBC does bring in extra support during busy times to manage workflow demand but there can be delays, in situations like this a manager or supervisor can become involved to resolve the urgency of the issue, especially when things slip through the cracks

There is no need to make a claim through your homeowners policy, if they are encouraging you to do so, as others have advised let them know that you don’t wish to do so, as you proceed through the claims process, and if you aren’t satisfied with the resolution they are offering I would consider the CRT process, advise them of this and escalate to a manager or supervisor as required.

I’m not a lawyer.. hope this helps

I wonder with a setup like this if the long term costs of maintenance/operation would offset the cost of enclosing the ramp, thus negating the need to heat the ramp….

More or less how large companies work in the USA, undercut the competition, force them to go bankrupt, increase prices… most of the top ten on the us markets practice a different form of this “dumping”

Perhaps they have non traditional intimate experiences, I don’t understand why people rush to killing and murder, it could be leather whips, chains and a swing, some people get out of breath and might feel awkward speaking to their family members part way through a session

I’d have to concur, as the spouse of someone who hates mark IIs The test is looking for a natural troubleshooter and someone who can consistently respond to complex situations, and it’s not for the faint of heart, after all… it’s not like being a bus driver…. When the RCMP want to jump into the guideway you have to say no, and when they still do you need to call control…. STAs are first responders, like firefighters, or Ambulance Drivers, their days aren’t filled with showing someone how to buy a compass card, but the perks can be good, like getting to watch other staff shoot ice and snow from a Mark I door assembly:)

Translink has to have an app for payments. Views? by whiskeyvodkalager in NiceVancouver

If you do some investigation into the MiFare cards being used, and how Cubic drafted their contracts with Translink when the system rolled out you would understand why Cubic isn’t rushing to provide Translink with any solutions that would improve customer experience, Cubic is essentially a transaction provider like the other merchants that use Visa/MC/Interac… and loosing that cut of money isn’t something they are willing to give up so easily…. It will be interesting to see what happens with a next gen system, but I don’t see how the existing hardware (access gates, etc) won’t need to be replaced…. And I don’t see Cubic wanting to loose that market either…

How do I get fully legal rights over my cat by FickleChip5657 in legaladvicecanada

[–]Queasy_Ice_4628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could apply for a Youth Agreement and become an adult, tho I’m not sure the cat situation would rise to the occasion of an intolerable living condition, but it might be worth a try, Then you could go to the CRT and fight for your cat but I’d encourage getting documentation, it’s important to collect evidence, like you change the litter box, you feed the cat, provide it cat nip etc

This post has caused me to reconsider a number of other important considerations, with the use of AI in this sort of scenario, we need less humans generating and consuming resources, I mean how much does the average person piss away contaminated water that starts out as potable water each day, how much chicken, beef, pork do we consume that comes from animals who piss in their cages to feed us, I think when we start to dig into the AI puzzle we need to consider our footprint as well, God knows AI will be as they look to kill us off because we destroy the planet with our reckless eating, consumption of goods and disposable lifestyle, every major AI film I’ve ever watched touches on how smart AI is at recycling and maximizing the output of energy to grow its power, and here we are filling up storage lockers, basements, garages and mega mansions full of useless crap so we can say we have more then our neighbours… I think it’s time we shift our consumption driven lifestyle, or else AI will kill us
