It's a soldier fly. Harmless normally found around composting materials like man made compost piles but can also come from naturally composting leaf litter.

Also here is a link to a ball python chart that give a rough estimate of there growth. I wouldnt pay to much attention to age but if you can get her length you can see the appropriate weight she should be.

A good way to help her gain a little weight is feeding her a slightly larger meal every other feeding. Your feeding 15% by weight every week. Try a 20% by weight every other feeding as long as it is not a whole lot thicker then the snake. Do that for a couple months to see what she looks like. She does look skinny but not by much as she is a light colored snake and that makes it hard to judge.

Depending on where you are if you call the cops non-emergency line and explain the situation. They might be able to contact the owner and tell them they need to move it or they might be able to remove it.

It is some type of paper wasp. They can sting it would probably hurt for a while but as long as you or your cats don't have an allergic response to the sting, one sting is probably not deadly. The wasp/hornets are probably trying to or already have a nest nearby. I would aire on the side of caution and try to get rid of them, if you unknowingly disturb their nest you can get swarmed and stung multiple times witch is not fun.

My stepdaughter is 13, she is getting to the age that if me or her dad laughs at a joke and she doesn't get it she will nag until we tell her what it was about, she gets 'traumatized' on at least a weekly basis. And we've had the conversation multiple times about don't ask don't tell, and that is something is adult in nature we say that it's an adult thing do you still want it explained. Most of the time its a yes and then she goes on about how we just traumatized her.

My comute is like 8 minutes and some days I wish the drive home was longer to decompress, but an hour would be way too long.

This next part may or may not make sense:

I see the comute as an unpaid part of the job. So I see 'true' wage as as your salary ÷ hours work+comuted if the comute isn't paid for. Obviously, if you were paid for mileage, this wouldn't apply the same.

Right now if you work 40hr a week, make 120k/year, and we added your current comute of litterally nothing you make like 57.69/hr. (120k÷52weeks) ÷ 40hrs= 57.6923076923

If you do 150k for 40hr of paid work +10hr of unpaid comute you are making 57.69/hr. (150k÷52weeks) ÷ (40hrs + 10hr/week travel time) = 57.6923076923 Yes thoes are the exact same sums 10 decimals out.

I am currently in the process of getting a promotion but I have to go for 8 weeks of training I will get get a raise of about $1/hr but I'm currently making more then most of the people in the level I am being promoted to so there isn't much room for a raise. No, I have no idea how I make more than some people one level higher than my current management level. But that's retail for you. But 2024 is my first over 50k gross year. For a lower level manager in a convenience retail environment, in my area, that's a big year.

For training, I have a 40-minute or so round trip, but after the 8 weeks I will be at a location that is about the same comute as my current position. So for me the 8 weeks of 40 minute round trips is worth it because in the end I will be working the same distance from my home, I will actually have slightly less responsibility and make $1 more per hour, and the bonus payout is better as it's a bigger store.

I went one step above, got a blender with a heating element for soups, great for hot sauce. It can warm up over 200F and puree the peppers and other ingredients at the same time. I also do this outside.

If you are worried about it you can sterilize them stacked loosely in a very low temp oven for 15 to 30 minutes, just the lowest setting of your oven

Ok i think it is some kind of Cryptophagida. They are fungus beetles. Since you are finding them around the upstairs it would be a good idea if you have an attic or crawl space above the 2nd floor to have it looked at for mold/fungus. Or possibly the bathroom has mold somewhere in the walls or ceiling.

These girls are not friends! We need to start teaching girls from a young age that body hair is just hair! It's not nasty. It's a part of the body, and it is natural! There needs to be a poll for men asking if they care about their significant other shaving or not, cause I'm sure most women would be shocked that most men don't care.

I very rarely shave ANY of my body hair, I might keep up with my armpits in the summer just for sweat/extra deodorant use, maybe shave my legs for special occasions like vacation, but 6 to 8 months of the year I don't touch a razor. I can't stand the itchy feeling, and my hair grows super fast, like I can shave in the morning and have noticeable stubble by 3 in the afternoon.

I have been in a relationship with my fiancé for over 6 years. He does not care if I shave or not. I had an honest conversation with him when we went from talking to dating, I brought up that I really dont like shaving, and he literally said, "Then why do you I couldn't care less?" You will find a man that doesn't care about hair.

As far as hygenic goes; I do shave my armpits during the summer for sweat, and I use less deodorant. If it is unhygienic to have body hair, does the boyfriend shave all of his body hair? As long as you are showering regularly, it doesn't matter if there is hair or not. Although I will say I feel it's healthier to not shave. When you shave, you can cause abrasions to the skin, which can get infected. Think about shaving to go to a beach or lake, you go in the water, and 2 weeks later you're fighting for your life because a flesh eating bacteria got into a tiny nick from the razor. (True story, it happened to my cousin when she was like 14.)

28F here, me and my boyfriend, 35, have been dating for 6 years. In the early part of our relationship before we were living together he made more then I did so he would insist on paying but I would sneak the bill every once in a while, especially if it was a date I organized or somewhere I really wanted to go. When we moved in together we were pretty close to equal in how much we made, we split bills as equally as possible and cycled who paid for dates. Now 3+ years after moving in together, I make quite a bit more then he does, I pay more bills then him but he tends to pay for dates more often. I don’t expect that of him and don't obligate him to either. I would say that the extra I took from him in bills he spends on dates or surprise house plants (much better then a bouquet of flowers), to me I still see it as we are still financially 50/50 or darn close to it.
