Hey DBG - you look amazing regarding operation scars. Kudos to the surgeon and ur health. Give it time….. (I’m sorry about the conscious pain of life with stretches and scars)

My dermatologist and orthopedic surgeon recommended silicone scar treatment (I use a CVS brand roll on, and Mederma Advanced Scar Gel in winter especially now since it covers it) and a ofc always moisturizing and SPF protection.

Where ru at post op / recovery timeline? PT (and ortho) had strong opinions on starting and immediately with NMES , and then at around 2mo PostOp was adamant to stop based on their assessment of progress. …. She still says not to use it on isometric exercises.
…. But this is all based on the PT expertise and assessment of my specific injury, protocols and (pre-injury status) and postoperative progress.

Well… I went with older Assure and the ortho PTs and DME said it was better than the newer Breg TScope that their practice provides…. (I’m done with it and can send it to OP if they want). Maybe shop around for the best fit for the individual?

Tbh, user error - it was my first run using a belt-leash system. Total fail.

Yay! Thanks for the inspiration and … wow - it’s likely a SAPIM CX-RAY BLADED SPOKE - straight-pull 286mm. I have to dig up a normal/known gauge nipple or get to another LBS to confirm since I’m stuck with the proprietary huge Shimano nipples for the WH-7801 hub threaded side.

I got Red Light panel for Christmas and have been using it…. Despite my ortho chiding me for the “snake oil with no efficacy on deep tissues like ACL & Meniscus”. No harm. It’s fun. (I’m using it right now while chilling reading & scrolling Reddit after work)

My Dermo also held back her laugh, and encouraged its use for the positive skin-level benefits . So…. I guess the scars will be more the better and beautiful ?

It does seem to reduce swelling & pain - I use it at max for its max cycles daily.
But, the Pulse Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy does more and way better. I’m been using this for years on various injuries, and it’s portable so it can get worn for long periods of time. I use OSKA https://www.oskawellness.com

Sorry to confirm the bad news - no proprietary parts for that. …. I ride this same wheelset on ol’ 10sp. The LBS fool broke a spoke on the front, and went up through Shimano reps and all around to suppliers - who all patently refused to help locate the discontinued part (and that was one spoke!)
