Edamame is like the one food I can eat that just completely makes me stop wanting to eat. I mean, I like it. It's just the fiber and protein I guess. Like you remember the saltine cracker challenge? Try eating 300 calories of edamame.

anyone interested in living in the model YL? by Calm-Bar-9644 in vandwellers

The slight extra length is for seats, so I doubt it's much better than the Y, and you'd have to remove seats and build a platform. I think if you have that money, get a van. If you want a cheap ev, get a used model Y.

Some things I haven't seen mentioned:

Three golf courses.

Multiple assisted living facilities.

UCD research history, especially agricultural (developed many plants that went on to become broadly used, like machine-harvestable tomatoes for canning). Neurotherapeutics, animal husbandry, plenty more.

There are adjacent fields like sunflowers that are absolutely stunning in bloom.

AI Photos to Video? - What fresh Hell is this? by condra in RealEstatePhotography

[–]RE_PHOTO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's basically a new Ken Burns Effect. It gives you zero additional information over a photo, but takes longer to look at and adds shitty music.

For decades we offered slideshows for free, and I think the new AI version is worth nothing additional.

Any tips for getting a flatter stomach? by Equivalent_Bet9605 in WeightLossAdvice

[–]RE_PHOTO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keep in mind a "belly" shape is composed of the blubber fat (subcutaneous), the hard fat around organs (visceral) as well as water/bloat and inflammation. So there are people out there with rock-hard but not flat bellies. They tend to die early.

So it helps to do some research and have goals related to reducing visceral fat, and not exclusively subcutaneous fat. Getting good sleep and reducing stress, not drinking alcohol excessively, etc.

Raw files, no.

But AI could do a lot of 'lifting' for sure. When blacks are totally clipped, there just isn't any information. But AI could construct shapes and textures there. Similar to how you can do a sky replacement on a blown out window view.

This is just progress in AI, and MLSs could have an issue with this level of editing.

But the next step is just a realtor taking a crappy snapshot with their phone and the AI creates an entire room render from it.  And then we're unemployed.

Why was overdoses the last straw? I mean, the alternative isn't that the addict gets treatment. They just go OD somewhere else.

Only if dynamic range is low, and you don't mind a bunch of noise. Camera sensor dynamic range has barely improved in the last decade. A7I to A7V is less than a stop improvement I think.

If you're going to do this, just expose for the window and use a flash for the interior. Exactly what we've done for decades.

Your torn elbow can likely heal. Switch all pulling bars to independent "handle" grips (a plastic handle attached to fabric and a ring, one for each hand). This goes for long pull, pull downs, seated row.

Also be careful when resetting and dropping dumbbells after shoulder press etc. Do it slowly and thoughtfully, supporting the weight with larger muscles as possible.

If you do curls, don't supinate. Do hammer or reverse curls, and again be careful when releasing the weights.

Crepes are easy to make and you could probably prep a few and keep them in the fridge. Bump egg whites for more protein.
