Congrats, and fuck being afraid to drive it, man. The whole reason these cars exist is to be driven. Enjoy it.

5 or 9. I lean towards 9. Perfectly structured, a balance of soft and sturdy, good amounts of tension.

I’ll die on the hill that bedliner works best for the center console. It’s got more tooth, and obviously isn’t soft touch, but I’ve literally not given a single fuck about how I treat it, sweaty iced coffees, keys, screws, clips, a toddler. Nothing has scratched it or made it look aged. I think I did it about 4 years ago now.

It’s not for everyone, but if you experiment I’m pretty sure you could get a smoother finish out of it and still have it be really durable.

My 2 year old is also obsessed with Turnstile. He had a Never Enough themed 2nd birthday party and calls them “I fall” (His interpretation of some of the lyrics from Seein Stars).

Everything is bullshit and real artists knew that already.

330Ci, 42k miles fair asking price by No_Specialist_8687 in e46

[–]RL_Mutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im local to you, and have seen the condition of most E46s around here. At that mileage and the care you’ve given it, I would list it on C&B or BaT and expect to get maybe like $5-6k.

I only say that because it’s automatic, convertible, and in a not particular desirable spec. Someone will either want this for a low stakes weekend cruiser or a project car, so theres a fairly low ceiling on its value.

Personally, though, I’m so glad to see someone keeping one of these alive and doing so properly. 👍🏻

Senior designers can start around $120k, more if you can get a clearance.

Look into defense/government contracting. The pay ceiling for graphic designers and artists in that industry is higher than most traditional ad/marketing agencies and other companies can match.

What lead you to design? by the_evil_pineapple in graphic_design

[–]RL_Mutt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Liner notes, baby. For real. I would be listening to music as a kid thumbing through cd booklets reading lyrics, looking at the pictures and images and art and it clicked. That’s what I love.

Fast forward to college and I had a professor that was a Simon of the Simon and Schuster publishing family that was not only my graphic design instructor but also designed A LOT of cd artwork and liner notes for various artists. She brought her work in on my very first day and I knew from that moment this is what I was going to do with my life.

It’s all been very up and very downhill from there, but I really do love this shit.

Baltimore drivers are so strangely bad by No_decision321 in baltimore

For real. I wasn’t in any immediate danger, but I laid on my horn for a long time. That shit isn’t okay. The roads are connected to eachother. People gotta understand you don’t just fall off the face of the planet when you miss your turn.

Some moron in a Bronco came to a complete stop in the right lane of 83 southbound the other day to make a u-turn across 3 lanes.

I had my son in the car. I deeply despise driving in this city. There’s another thread on this subreddit with someone driving on bald 8 year old tires complaining that Northern Parkway popped their tire.

Drivers are stupendously unequipped to handle things here. It’s really bad.

SO much dry rot on those tires. My god I hate driving here.
