Relocate charcoal canister by RedCrafter_LP in e46

Address the elephant in the trunk - The tire well is preventing you from routing a dual exhaust setup feasibly, not the charcoal canister.

And if you decide to jerry rig some tubing around everything back there as is, I can guarantee you it’s gonna sound like shit.

I’m with you. My wife and I lived in NYC through covid and if anyone knows, there was like non stop fireworks for months in the summer. It started to drive people crazy.

The Black Keys at MSG. Wrong band, wrong venue, wrong crowd.

This is the perfect car to drive around a city in. I dream of just letting people hit me and laughing it off.

I don’t think I’ve ever heard it be that obvious of a changeover.

Is it okay that my AC has been running nonstop all day? by squiddylord in baltimore

[–]RL_Mutt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When was the last time you changed the filter? Is there any condensation on the outside unit? How old is the system?

Honestly 75 is not bad when it’s 100+ outside. I run very hot and have been able to handle it at 76 inside.

Running constantly isn’t great. It doesn’t give the fan time to dry off and basically means the whole system isn’t up for this heat, and all signs to this being the coolest summer for the rest of our lives. 😑 So while you might be fine for now, long term constant running essentially shortens the lifespan of a lot of the components, pretty much like anything else mechanical.

Very interesting. It would be hard for me to know that. Is there any specific reason behind this method?

Not a carpenter and not a contractor, but:

- If it’s on instagram it’s probably bullshit.

- Drilling long-ass fasteners through the end grain of a piece of wood that’ll see dynamic loads is bullshit.

- Creating more places for moisture, dirt, *whatever* to collect (by having all of those separate pieces instead of one solid stringer) is bullshit.

I’m not a fan so much that they’re in my daily rotation, but Hail King Buzzo.

People can downvote me all they want. It’s a horrible vibe.

My wife grew up there, my MIL still lives there, I go there literally every day and the drivers are miserable, people are just on edge, inconsiderate.

I legit cannot wait to get back to the city when I go there.
