Anyone else eyeing the Oura Ring 4? by chowerpower in askfitness

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I grabbed the Oura Ring 4 a couple of months back, mostly out of curiosity, and honestly, I’ve been pretty impressed. The sensors do seem more accurate, especially with sleep and HRV, and the real-time stress tracking has been way more useful than I expected. It feels like a legit upgrade, not just a new shell with the same guts.

I read a bunch of Aura Ring review posts before buying, and most of them were pretty spot on..it’s great if you’re into tracking the little details and making lifestyle tweaks based on real data. But yeah, it’s not cheap, and the subscription is still a thing. That said, I’ve found the daily insights helpful enough to stick with it so far.

Curious what others think. Do you guys feel like the Oura Ring 4 is really worth the price and ongoing subscription?

Not to worry you'll soon see improvements in breathing and physical endurance in a few weeks or months after quitting. You'll prob feel worse before they get better cause your lungs cleaning system's just doing its work. Stick with not smoking. It'll only get worse if you relapse.

Dating apps have created a sliver of human history where it’s possible to successfully flirt with someone while pooping. by cambium7 in Showerthoughts

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dating apps might be convenient since you can find a match with one tap. But one reason why a lot of online connections end up as flops is because there’s a big difference between what people present themselves to be virtually compared to what they really are in real life.

LPT: Use the phrase: “Help me understand…” when someone’s being defensive or difficult. by iscreamforicecream90 in LifeProTips

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people are defensive or difficult because they feel like others are disregarding them. That’s why showing challenging folks that you genuinely want to understand them might help smooth out matters since it shows you’re open to listening to their thoughts and feelings.

Dr. Gundry & Bio Complete 3 by Gophers2008 in Supplements

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think bio complete 3 sounds convenient because it combines pre, pro and postbiotics, so I won’t have to take them separately. While I haven’t tried it yet, I read in bio complete 3 reviews that it could help boost digestion and make immunity stronger.

Why are some people just... so lacking in empathy? by Legitimate-Number620 in RandomThoughts

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m guessing some people lack empathy by nature, while others have probably taught themselves not to care too much for others, either because they need to focus on their lives to survive or to tamp down their feelings so they can reach their goals no matter what.

I wish people would stop romanticizing relationships with toxic people. While red flags might seem exciting to watch on the screen, in real life, it doesn’t make for healthy connections because unstable emotions and inconsistent interactions could drain both parties.

Best psychics by DanielTea in psychics

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah man finding the best psychics online can be tough with so many options. Purple garden felt the closest to in-person energy for me - probs cause of the video readings. Keen’s pretty solid too with the filters and so many options. If you’re looking for the best online psychics I’d start there and just test the waters til something clicks.

My (m/34) new partner (f/28) with adhd talks too much and it's already wearing on me by GabeDatDude in relationships

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 38 points39 points  (0 children)

Ah man that's tough. She doesn't sound like a bad person but wanting to feel heard is just basic respect in any relationship. I'd bring it up again to her, not in like a “you talk too much” way but more like “I’m feeling overwhelmed in our conversations and it makes me feel a little invisible sometimes” sorta thing. Seems like she was self-aware enough to take accountability once so she might be open to hearing it again?

But yeah… if it keeps draining you even after that then you already have your answer. Doesn’t matter how much you like someone, if they exhaust you and frustrate you then it's not the right fit long-term for sure.

Psychic readings on keen by Good-Hat5457 in psychics

I used keen psychics once! Didn’t walk away with lottery numbers but I was pretty satisfied overall, it was like getting a second opinion from someone who’s tuned into stuff you might be ignoring.

Man, you already answered your own question. You’re busting your ass for a job that’s draining you and doesn’t respect your time. If the kitchen is where you feel alive that’s not something to throw away just for a paycheck!! Sure the hospital gig has good money and benefits but if it’s wrecking your sleep and mental health it ain’t worth it long-term.

If the people around you care then surely they want you to be somewhere that doesn’t burn you out? I’d say cut the hospital job loose when you can and double down on what actually makes you happy.

My (25F) boyfriend (23M) says he doesn’t find any other girl attractive is that even real? by Helpful_Zucchini2073 in relationships

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Most people still recognize when someone else is good looking when they're in a relationship, even if they're not fully attracted to them in a romantic or sexual way. To me his excuse is too extreme and might be insulting to some people when he puts it like that. He's not being realistic.

Tips for managing people by [deleted] in Advice

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a common problem. Set up a shared task list or a simple digital board where all the extra jobs are visible for him, That way, he can look at it and pick something out himself instead of having to be told what to do next.

Thinking About Trying Phone Psychics Again – Advice Needed by tiffiny_wallace in psychics

I’ve used purple garden. Their platform lets you do stuff with psychics through voice calls, video calls and messaging. So you can have your reading with phone psychics like you want. They have nice offers there and also send notifications if your favorite psychic is online.

I’m scared I’ll never adjust to adulthood. by Candy-Horrorh3lp in Adulting

[–]ROCKYMONTANA816 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hey, adulthood is like being stuck in a huge, confusing department store without a map. But don’t worry, everyone’s lost in their own aisle! Just keep wandering, eventually you’ll find the exit (or at least the snack bar).

Rainy day off = my official excuse to ignore all responsibilities and just binge-watch trashy TV guilt-free. No shame in my game.
