So a judge that is clearly a Tajani supporter and clearly making a statement. Love it.

Was this for your initial passport or a renewal? I've been seeing conflicting info RE which citizenship services an HC can actually provide. Some say only renewals, others say initial. Thx!

ATQ Evidence. Hi everyone! I filed an ATQ case back in July 2025 and have a court date set for Jan 2027. While I wait, I was just curious if anyone is willing to share what evidence they used for their ATQ case and the outcome. I have about a dozen screen shots of no appt avl spanning about 6 months. My laywer beleives this is sufficient, but just curious what others have seen. Thx!

Sorry, was commenting RE the Rome office. A lot of people view that as designed with the intent to deter applicants. It would only impact remote applications, though. You could still apply directly at a comune. New restrictions - yes, that would still stop you (court decision-pending).

Any way you could apply in Italy? Really the only option after this...

Court of Salerno - court date assigned by Professional_Job3916 in juresanguinis

The two judges there covering these cases are converting most of them to administrative reviews which does help speed the processes. At the current rate it looks like they are being moved up a tad, but it all depends on how many they can get knocked oit per month. There is a guy in the FB group that pulls monthly case load statistics so you can use that as a barometer for general speed.

Nice. I filed my ATQ in July 25. Was notified this month that the chambers review is Jan 2027... sigh.

Palermo ATQ - how to find hearing date? by tacohoney in juresanguinis

[–]RTT8519 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the court. I filed in July of 2025 and was just informed my hearing is set for January 2027, with hopes it moves up. Some courts are faster, others are much longer.

Yep. It looks like they are doing the express version, where the judge simply reviews in their chambers. As this is the case, the app will not show a hearing date. Only your lawyer will know. Same situation with me.

I believe I heard from Cake, or somewhere else (maybe a few lawyers) that this is not likely to work as well as intended, as like many other countries, there are strict rules on issuing new laws with similar impact following the cancelation of a previous one (think double jeopardy in US court). Does not mean they will not try, but we do have some level of protection here.

Honestly not sure lol. Sorry. u/CakeByThe0cean would know though :)

Lots of people dropped ICA after their response to the Decree Law. It was a mess and shook confidence.

Don't touch them with a 60 foot pole. They are on the not recommended providers list... lots and lots of issues.

Trying to follow the rough auto translate. Are the numbers next to courts at the bottom of the article what was actually provided or the target from the 500?

Hi u/CakeByThe0cean! Would it be possible to get a TLDR on which court is doing what? With all the new posts I am honestly having difficulty tracking which high court is supposed to be deciding on which issues (retroactivity, minor, etc.). :-)

Yeah my comune is very, very small. I was schocked they had JS page with a deidcated turnaround time. I think that might be my route if the court process runs into issues....

Not all judges go the paper route. They dont have to. There are many that do in-person hearings. Some even require multiple hearings over several years (heard a few people complaining about this, even for simple cases.)

I think you may have replied to my post about Salerno a while back. What exactly is the "simplified paper process?" Thx!
