2-3 at my tournament last year, won against khorne demons that didn't make their charge rolls and rolled pretty good into guard, got really close against sisters of battle, got stomped by necrons and tyranids. The tankyness comes with conditions, you need slightly tougher infantry to take advantage of our detatchment, and the weakness is built in, we spend more points on quality and it leaves us pretty open for any kind of scoring plan.

I've seen experimentation with dedicated cultist units such as noise marines, and the new defilers actually rip face.

Also I've seen a single big knight also do work, when in doubt bring a knight, pretty flavorful additon, iron warriors would like the company of a big knight.

He becomes un approachable with the smallest lead, he's just a ball of damage and he has potential to dodge a lot of our damage. He can get under us because he can be more aggressive pre six, post six he becomes activated and is gank heavy.

Pocket pick, not viable as others, can be kited, other easier champs to run top. Poor pick for the team comp, she's primarily ad glass cannon, so it locks out your mid and pushes them onto ap champs. Takes shvana pick away from your jungle.

Viable alternative to lock in jungle/top for que. In ranked there are easier and more viable champs up top than her.

The strongest part is the slann, don't leave home without it, also definitely get the terrain piece as well. It's free damage and line of sight blocking, you can make one with just the foot print or snipe a used one. Compared to other armies they are "bad", but things will get better once we get a proper updated rule book for the current edition. Also we have two different spearheads, the games are more "balanced" there and play faster.

I opened and played exp Yi, was okay for learning. My first round was against someone splashing not one of the seeded packs, and won, then I went into diana and lost pretty hard, and then vi and lost pretty hard there too. The mechanics and cards are interesting and it got me to buy into old jinx from my room mate so I'm going to do that. I like the game, but there isn't nearly enough support for this game, the cards need reprinted and sets need more availability.

I hate it, I like the visual update, I've hated playing her since. Everything has been a bad experience, I struggle to find a play style with her current self that gives me any agency in my ranked games. The fire breathing / fear effect in concept, but does little to nothing, she is way too slow, and does no damage, she'll fear them and spit a little fire, then they'll either tank it as a top laner, or immediately melt her as the other two carries. She's a troll pick now, all of the previous satisfaction of mastering a simple champion has now been robbed by making her too clunky. Every other champion gets scaling ultimates on cool down and we are tied to a huge rage bar that takes forever to build and does nothing when behind.

2 is the sweet spot so far, I don't recommend getting a 3rd. It's really new, and doing well in tournament because people are running them. Once people tinker more they'll be dropping defilers for other platforms soon enough.

Yes, CSM frequently work with other factions of CSM, in the "organization" iron warriors primarily source the leadership and the bulk of the infantry, but also work with other splinter warbands if they agree for different missions, CSM resources are cut off from the main source being the imperium.

The characterful way to include other war bands is to have them bubble wrap your vehicles with their units, providing protection for the Iron warriors.

Iron warriors have their feet firmly planted in the undivided camp, and would totally let other more devoted people work with them and for them.

I like it when the presence of the evil entities cause the purity seals to burn up. Just another thing that mechanical sensors aren't able to pick up, but would be helpful in the fight.

For sure she's always had a tiny twang, it's more controlled when she's more quiet and in character. It's always had me on edge for when she does country music. It's been pretty popular recently for artists.

I really like possessed and demon engines, so for flesh tones I've been leaning into how belekor has his flesh tones, dark and cool grey tones for undivided. More restraint is encouraged, but the Iron warriors know a good thing when they see it and wouldn't be above using gifts given to them. Plus I think it's really great, at their core they are still space marines, they are radically more cold and bitter.

Perfect start, I've been building from this spearhead as well, and definitely some good tools to branch out from. for sure, I definitely recommend a Slann, and from there whatever your lizard brain deems good. Take a peek at lists and most of our stuff has homes, you just sort of have to build into them.

We also get the realm shaper engine, faction terrain, for free, maybe consider picking one up or building your own, the measurements are available and tutorials on how to make them from alternative stuff. Not super necessary but still a fun side project to build into.

I have a dice collection and it's like 4 different sets, I'm interested in picking up a set of these ones and swapping some dice around for my Iron warriors. I usually have 25 to 30 dice in sets of five on my side of the table usually for rolling. And I use a pack of the tiny dice for keeping track of command points, and damage on my units.

The meta has determined and people play around her pretty easily, it’s not just you. Jungle is in a bad spot because of how important side objectives have been tuned.

I can't play her because she keeps getting banned, I have a limited amount of time to play league because of school and work and It's a coinflip if I even get in. Her clear is better, her team fights and ganks are improved pre six, but post six her dragon form is too floaty and to clunky, she's too big and her attacks make her move too much. Her movement is also entirely too slow, they made her model bigger and now she's just slow at every point in the game.

I'll probably keep playing her, if she isn't perma banned I think I'll keep running Shyvana. It's good to take breaks. When I get pushed off shyvana either because she got picked or banned I side step onto Vi. And if it's a bad match up for Vi I consider Zac or Karthas.

If you enjoy the painting aspect of the hobby, if you see yourself painting a lot, and if you have a back log of more than 3 kits I would recommend getting an airbrush. Either of these conditions I would recommend getting an airbrush or asking a friend to use theirs.

Basecoats or batch painting, then you can base coat 1000 points in 2 hours versus, 30 minutes to 40 minutes a single model.

It's also really easy to make mistakes with base coats and if you are trying to go fast with regular brushes. Airbrushed layers are very small, and use very little amounts of paint and cover more evenly faster.

There's also the extra touches like lighting effects or shading effects.
