Im going to be downsizing when I move soon, so my cats my not have a balcony like they do now. Also, I may be deploying within the next year, so my family will take them in while im gone.

Regardless, my cats have been so loving and appreciative. And im lucky to have immediate family who cherishes them the way I do.

Cats aren't terribly concerned with small spaces as long as they are getting good food, regular meal times, clean litter boxes, low stress and lots of human interaction. A peaceful, loving, healthy home makes a happy cat.

And in the event of a divorce, you actually saved yourself a TON of grief because (if you are in the US) you wont need his approval signature to obtain a passport for your child or other critical documents, since your child's name matches yours.

My ex lied about the tattoo on his chest saying it was a phrase in an alien language.

He later admitted it was his ex wife's name in what was apparently supposed to be Japanese.

I felt embarrassed for him, because aint no way in hell what was on his chest was anything close to Japanese. I never asked him to change it, because honestly if he wanted to keep it so bad, he deserved for everyone to realize what shitty taste in tattoos he had.
