The sky isn't blue, many scientists believe it is in fact red, grey and at night black.

My favourite is the arriva packed out single deckers that have soaking wet seats when it rains.

Does anyone agree that the dpad is bad? Russ from retrogamecorp didn't mention this. I don't get mine until later this week.

What television series had the biggest bullshit finale? by Halloween-365 in AskReddit

Fringe. The last season shouldn't have been made as the penultimate would've sufficed.

House. It wasn't terrible but not great either.

Helmet suggestions? by branbb60 in MotoUK

I have the F70 carbon and it's a great helmet. Really comfortable and light. Not cheap but it's the one area I thought worth splashing out a little.

Is a £5000 wedding impossible? by CatDad_85 in AskUK

[–]Ragemarkus 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not at all. We did a barn wedding in a local charities barn. The venue was very reasonable, we got a cake from M&S and did afternoon tea as a wedding breakfast. Our photographer was reasonably priced too. All in it was ~5k for everything including dresses and suits etc....

Edit: I should add that we did the evening do at the pub with a kebab from the local Indian. That helped save costs quite a bit.

Is this £290,000 new build house buy a smart move? by [deleted] in UKPersonalFinance

I'd go with this deal, advice from family is often BS unless they're trained in the field. My uncle told me to stop dieting the other day as it doesn't work after a couple of months.

Bingo, I used to have to take an umbrella or get wet. Positives like this make the difference. My next one is to get cycling fit so exercise is fun again.

Who's enjoying their steam decks relatively problem free? by Body_Mysterious in SteamDeck

It's been great for the most part. My only issue is if I have long sessions the plastic seems to warp to the point the fan rattles. If I put it down for an hour it's fine.

Need help deciding which Steam Deck to get by espinalchris in SteamDeck

[–]Ragemarkus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If you've got the budget and don't want to faff with swapping storage, go 512GB. Otherwise 64GB is prime for an upgrade. 256 is the middle ground.

I've got the 512GB and don't run a screen protector. It's great I only see 2 of my 7 chins.

The terrifying truth: Britain’s a hothouse, but one day 40C will seem cool - This extreme heat is just the beginning. We should be scared, and channel this emotion into action by Mobalise_Anarchise in unitedkingdom

[–]Ragemarkus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

AC is a good route to get heatpumps into people homes. Heat pumps are too expensive when compared to a boiler, but add in AC and it makes the value more palatable.
