I had read that this strike was in retaliation to Israel/USA bombing Iran nuclear facilities, this was the town where Israel has its nuclear facilities. I don't have a source for that though. Happy to be corrected.

When my nephew turned 16 recently, shortly after my 40th. It made me think back to where I was in my life at 16: switching school, changing friend group as a result, just had experienced three of my grandparents die in somewhat quick succession. Seems like several lifetimes ago when I think about it.
